Vampires Can Hypnotize

"It's too cold out here for you, Jade. You're not a cold-blooded vampire," Max said when they arrived in the woods.

"Then turn me into your vampire girlfriend, Max." Jade smiled. She meant to tease Max, but Max seemed to think about Jade's wish, who had wanted to be a vampire to be like him from the start.

"Jade, we've talked about this-"

"Don't take it too seriously, I'm just kidding, Max," Jade cut him off with an elbow.

Max immediately smiled in relief. He then immediately attacked her lips with his and kissed her so softly.

At first, Jade gasped because Max immediately attacked her. Then she got used to it and enjoyed the kiss.

For a few minutes, they kissed until there was a movement in Max's ear until he had to finish the kiss.

He looked behind him and glanced in various directions.

"What's the matter, Max?" Jade asked looking not ready to finish their kiss.

"Looks like there's another vampire here."

Jade swallowed her saliva. For some reason, she was immediately ready with her pepper spray in the back of her coat pocket. She is ready to spray it if needed.

Jade's two golden eyes also followed the direction of Max's head movement. But she also admired the good looking of her boyfriend's face.

"Stay behind me, Jade," Max ordered.

"Are they a vampire?" Jade asked in a whisper.

Max just mumbled and it wasn't long before five vampires came up to them. Max knows the five vampires. He considers them enemies even though they look good to Max and his family. But the good manners of the five vampires meant something.

"Hello, Max, nice to see you with your girlfriend ... hmm, a human," said one of the male vampires named Arthur.

"Are you hunting, Arthur?" Max asked.

Arthur nodded. "We suddenly smelled a sweet smell towards you. And it turned out to be because of your girlfriend. What's your name, Honey?" Arthur asked as he pointed at Jade.

"My name is Jade," Jade replied.

Arthur smiled and showed a perfect row of teeth. He was so intrigued when he saw Jade. Moreover, Jade didn't show any fear at all.

"Hello, Jade. I don't see any fear in you. Is it because you have vampire hunter blood on you?" Arthur asked as if he was mocking her.

"It could be," Jade replied nonchalantly. She then came out of hiding behind Max.

Max immediately moved quickly but Jade assured himself that she would be fine.

The five vampires winced in laughter and clapped their hands at Jade's answer. Then their expressions turned serious.

"May I know your four friends?" Jade asked.

"Jade," Max reminded her softly.

"It's okay. I just wanted to know."

"Oh well ... a human, vampire girlfriend, and also the daughter of a vampire hunter, would like to know us. It's an honor for us, Jade," Arthur said exaggeratingly.

Jade sighed. "I don't like stalling, Arthur."

"All right, introduce your names, gentlemen," said Arthur commanding the other four.

"Ryan."

"Benjamin."

"Jimmy."

"Orlando."

Jade nodded. The four of them stiffly introduced themselves. There is no friendly impression, everything looks fierce and vengeful.

"Forgive my four friends for being so stiff," Arthur said to Jade. "They are used to attacking humans as soon as they see them. Not talking like they are now," he added.

"When you're done, you can go back to your place, Arthur. You can hunt, but don't disturb us." This time Max spoke up because he didn't want any more interaction.

Arthur laughed at Max's gripping tone. But he nodded and then looked at Jade. "Nice to meet you, Jade. Maybe we can meet another time without Max by your side?"

"With pleasure," Jade replied, looking increasingly nonchalant.

Arthur and the other four vampires then flew off just like that. The gust of their departure was felt and that's when Jade took a deep breath.

"Ah ... never thought I'm that brave," said Jade.

"Jade, you can't be like that. What if I wasn't with you?"

"I'm fine, Max. I think being scared will make them happy. But I'm not afraid of them. Not at all," Jade assured him again.

Max hugged her. Rubbing the back of his girlfriend who was covered by her thick coat. "Don't be like that again. I'm afraid they'll attack you. What Arthur said is true. They're used to attacking humans without having a conversation like that."

"Do they mean by killing humans too?" Jade asked.

Max shook his head and let go of his arm. "Not all. We have another advantage, which is that we can hypnotize. So, when we find a korban, which means a human, we can hypnotize them after we bite and suck them," explained Max.

"Oh wow! That sounds cool. But can you hypnotize me, Max? Or maybe some other vampire?"

"One of your advantages is, you're vampire hunter blood and vampires can't hypnotize anyone with vampire hunter blood," Max replied.

Jade suddenly thought of her father. Even though her father is a vampire hunter, his safety is not guaranteed. Because not everyone can save themselves.

"What are you thinking?" Max asked.

"Zack. Will he be able to face the vampires if ... if a lot of vampires attack him?"

Max chuckled at the worried tone of his girl. "Jade, your father is a hero to the victims of vampires. Say, he is the leader of the vampire hunters."

"So Zack is not alone? He has other friends who are also vampire hunters?"

Max nodded. "Yeah, you're right, Jade. Some of your father's friends who come over to your house are vampire hunters."
