Falling In Love With Vampire

"What?" Jade asked who was getting more and more surprised by the question she had just heard.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" Shane asked again.

Jade was of course surprised by the question. Hasn't Shane said how many times he never forced her to be his girlfriend? But why did he ask as if he had forgotten what he said earlier?

"Shane, you said you didn't want to force me," Jade said.

"I know. It's just that this time I'm asking in a place and with an atmosphere like this, just to sound romantic," Shane explained.

Jade started to notice and then she cleared her throat. Answering when asked like this was indeed an adrenaline rush. It felt different than what Shane had said earlier.

"I'm sorry, I still want to be alone, Shane. I hope it won't hurt you as long as we stay together," Jade replied then.
