She will be mine within a week, deal

' Why are you messing around on the very first day of joining the company? I told you she is off-league, couple or not.' Pranav tries to add some sense to his friend's mind.

'Well, she is hot. She has turned into a wonderful woman and I have to have my hands on her, at any cost.' Ayushman said with determination, making Pranav sweat around.

Is this fool courting death?

' You know, molestation, harrassing and rape are crimes.' Pranav reasons back.

' Who said anything about forcing her? I know her. She was once my fan. She still is. All that I have to do is give her some subtle hints and she would be dreaming all about me.

Wanna see the effect of my charms?' Ayush asked with a cocky brow, making Pranav stare at him in confusion.

' You know her?' Pranav asked instead.

' Oh yeah. Few years ago, she even confessed her love to me. But at that time, she was nowhere worth my attention. Daeng, now she is.' Ayush said haughtily.

Making Pranav to stare at him for a good few minutes.

' Wanna bet? If you can get into her pants within a week, then I will give you 5 lakh rupees. But if you couldn't then you will be paying me 8 lakh rupees, while admitting that you are a loser and your charms don't work anymore.' Pranav asked, placing all his bets on Yuvika to win back his long lost pride and vigor.

After all, this fellow had humiliated him gravely once. So, if that girl can help him restore his humiliation, then why not. Pranav decided to keep the marriage fact a secret, too.

' Deal.' Ayushman added and shook hands, considering it a cakewalk.

Yuvika and Ashutosh were still on the terrace, enjoying each other's warmth and appreciating the view. Although both have different views, one was staring at the beach, appreciating it, while another was staring at her, mesmerized by it. It might be bland and boring for most of the people. But for these love birds who remain submerged in work, it was bliss.

A simple yet special moment.

~~

Yuvika was going to the Management section, to talk with the head of the management department, when she felt the strange vibes around her. She turned around but didn't find anything or anyone.

Making her shrug off her gut feeling and continue to walk. Just a few minutes and she felt it again. Again she turned around to find nothing. When she felt the same feeling for the third time, she decided to neglect it and kept walking.

Then, a hand came from behind and patted on her shoulder, startling her. She turns around only to see Pranav standing behind her, making her frown.

' Is everything okay, Miss Chauhan?' He asked gently. She exhaled a deep sigh, then nodded. Not quite being able to tell him the stalking feeling she was experiencing at the moment.

' Are you sure?' He asked again, to which she nod again.

'Okay. Miss Chauhan, I wanted to talk with you about something in private. Can we?' Pranav asked her directly, feeling it would be better to inform her about Ayushman.

' But, I was a bit busy at the moment. I have to brief the head of the management team urgently. How about this Mr. Jadhav, I will come to your office, once I am done.

Will that do for you?' Yuvika asked politely, making him nod then left the place.

But when he was walking he stood near a pillar for a moment and dragged the person hiding behind it, along with him back to the garden area of the company.

' Mind telling me, what were you trying to do?' Pranav asked, feeling his heart would have been out of his throat, if he had been a minute late.

'What? I am not a criminal or something, alright! I just wanted to drag her to a vacated place and offer her my charms. As simple as that.' Ayushman replied lazily.

' You said, you won't force her.' Pranav reminded him.

' I wasn't. I know, she will be sucking my dick, the moment I gave her the hint. So, just fuck off and let me do my work.' Ayushman said with annoyance, then left Pranav all alone, while focusing on his mission.

Pranav sighed heavily. This fellow will for sure earn him a direct kill order. He has to save his own ass, at any cost.

~~

' May I come in, Mr. Jadhav?' Yuvika asked, while knocking on the opened door. To which the person nodded.

' So, what was it that you wanted to talk about?' Yuvika asked, not wanting to waste her time. Not when Ashutosh's meal is pending.

' Well, it's about that guy, Ayushman. He claims that you know him and in the spur of the moment, he had made a bet with me that he will make you fall in love with him within a week.

Since, I don't trust him and he is not a good person in my eyes. I thought it would be better to warn you in advance. Please, be careful.' Pranav said, making her nod.

' Thank you so much for your prior warning. If there's nothing else, then I will take my leave.' Yuvika thanked Pranav and then asked for leave to which he nodded.

But the entire way to Food Hub, she kept thinking about what Pranav said. Ayushman, interested in her, isn't it way too much for her poor heart to accept.

After all, according to her, she was still the same girl she was nine years ago. So, what makes that fellow change his mind about her?

She didn't even realize that she was standing in front of the food counter, till the voice of the waiter broke her reverie.

'Sorry!' She asked, confused.

' Miss Chauhan, I was asking, how may I help you?' The waiter asked politely once again.

' I want your special lunch box, two in quantity.'She replied vaguely. But the waiter nodded and then left to arrange her order.

She sat in the nearby sitting area, while still pondering on the fact that Ayushman wants to court her.

' Busy?' She heard a deep, raspy voice making her look up and there he was, the person she was thinking about, Ayushman.

' Kinda.' She replied back, staring intently at him.

'What?' He asked, sensing her gaze.

'Nothing.' She replied back, but not averting her gaze away from him.

' Would you mind if I join?' Ayushman asked, knowing full well, his charms were doing their wonders on her.

' I won't.' She replied, while pointing to the chair next to her. He nodded then sat down.

' Is something bothering you?' Ayushman asked, after watching her half lost expression.

' You.' She replied like a spellbound creature.

'Pardon me !' He asked confusingly.

' Mr. Jadhav said you were talking about me, which makes me wonder, is everything okay? Are you alright? Why would you court someone like me, even if it's for a bet?' She asked directly.

' Hmm, interesting questions. I can't believe that idiot couldn't keep it to himself. Nevermind. Since, you know then my answer is simple. I like you and want to court you to know more about you.

Does that justify your answers?' Ayushman asked back directly.

' Since when did you lower your standards to this extent?' She asked back instead of replying too.

' Well, maybe when I got to know you.' He replied back jokingly.

' I am honored to know that.' She replied, then stared at the counter, where her order was still processing.

' Then, tell me, how do you want to be courted by me?' Ayushman asked after finding her staring at the counter. Making her smile lightly.

' Unfortunately, I am no longer interested in you. My apologies.' She replied back directly and calmly. Not shocked this time to find this calmness.

' Why? Is it because I rejected you once?' Ayushman asked softly, as if he wasn't rubbing salt to her old wounds.

' It's not like that. It's just that, as you can say, I've grown up. Now I no longer find you worthy of my time or attention as I used to do earlier.

Now, my work is what gains my time and attention.' She replied politely, as if she wasn't just crushing his hopes of winning the bet, like that.

'Oh really! Is it really your work? Or that boss of yours! Mr. Ashutosh Pratihast. Did you forget I was there when he hugged you? Is it because of him?

Are you also like other girls who run after name, fame, money and power? Are you rejecting me because you think you have a chance with him?Are you denying my pursuit because you want him to pursue you?

Is what I am thinking true?' Ayushman asked, boiling with anger.

Yuvika gave him a long glance, before replying ; ' Thanks for reminding me about why my decision of rejecting you just now was correct. Thank you once again.'

After that she didn't say anything further, just got up from her place and walked near the counter. Luckily, the waiter came with her packed bags, she picked them up from him, thanked him and then left the place.
