I woke up feeling pain all over my body. Jay must have left last night after he bathed me. 

Just like always. 

Every month Jay will come to my house when his rut came. And as usual I will be waiting at home to satisfy him. I couldn't say no because he was an alpha. 

To be exact, he was my alpha.

One of the perks of being Jay's secretary was that we had the floor to ourselves. 


There were only me and Jay whenever John didn't come to visit, and when Jay hasn't come in yet or out for his meeting that he didn't need me to attend, this was one of the times when I could enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful office. 


Relaxing at my desk after finishing all the urgent paperwork I fetched from John's table this morning, I looked at the clock on the wall of our office. 


It's about time John made his appearance. 


And surely not long after the thought crossed my mind, the elevator came up and stopped at our floor. 


"Oh, Kayden!" John's face brightened a lot as he saw me upon the elevator's door opening, and excitedly made his way towards me with his arms stretched forward in straight line. 


Upon reaching me, he didn't even hesitate to walk around the table and pulled me into a hug, very tightly at that.
