Proud and smart Rosette Woods from the countryside has been sent to stay with the Rickhorns, her parents very close friend's who live in the capitol, the city of Kantor.

Later into the night of her arrival she bumps into DeAndre Rickhorn, the son of Mr and Mrs Rickhorn. She soon finds that he is a promiscuous person whom she would like no dealings with even if he is as attractive as the rumor's have him.

Rosette must learn to co-ordinate her social standings in the city where she is not familiar with the 'common' behavior of the high-class society, altogether keep her wits about her every time she has an eventful encounter, which seems to be too often, with Young Master Dre who is unbothered by most things yet a very accomplished man in the eyes of many, if not all who know of his name. Their continuous interactions cause Rose to let her guard down around him and soon, he becomes someone who her gaze seeks when ever he is in the room.

"She's been in a mood since this morning." whispered Judy. 


"It's so strange seeing Daisy like this. She's always smiling, but now she looks…angry?" said the other maid as they bent over their pales with mops in their hands. 


The two maids continued to discuss what seems to be the problem with Daisy in Hush while watching her balance a tray of biscuits to later part of the mansion where the library was. 


Daisy had been in a foul mood since her meeting with Roy. The frown on her face deepened as she remembered Roy's words. Why would they get married? Well then what on earth were they doing with each other in the first place!


She thought that they both had shared the same feelings for each other but it seems that Roy only wanted a warm body. And he seemed to take a liking to hers. Nothing more than that.
