Chapter 19: Not Following Through

A foot launched towards his face before he had the chance to regain himself. One would think a guy with nothing but his feet would hesitate to attack a guy with a weapon, but the elf apparently didn’t care.

Bringing his arms up to defend himself, Alexander felt welts begin to form when a foot came into contact. It was almost like he was trying to stomp the life out of him, and the elf continued to his one-legged assault in a heated rush.

Alexander gritted his teeth as he took the beating, hand clenching the hilt of the sword he still held in his hand. “Don’t make me get your legs too!”

In response a heel made contact with his right cheek, the impact being good enough to have Alexander all buy laying on the ground. With Shen balancing on one of his legs, he looked at Alexander with a condescending snarl. “If you really wanted to take this fight seriously, it would be over by now.”
