Alexander couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief as soon as he left the cathedral. Far from deliberately threatening, he couldn’t help but feel uneasy when the priestess began questioning him about his supposed “blessing”. He didn’t like the idea of being analyzed as a possible benefactor of divine intervention. 


The effect came from Raymond, no doubt, and it was something he knew the Janasca picked up on as well. He may not know a lot about unicorns in this world, but he had a feeling that healing wouldn’t be the equine creature’s signature effect. But who knows? Maybe he was wrong. 


He carefully chose his words, suddenly paranoid that a church goer would overhear any mention of a creature so affiliated with the divine. “Are creatures like Raymond known for their healing?”
