He started, looking from one of the girls to the other. Chloe was standing beside him, one of her arms in his side, cupping one of his. He still didn't know how to react to her.

The truth was that he still had something for her. A big thing. And that kiss... the latest one seemed to revive something in him. It was strange but certain.

He knew he had to say something to the girls who were glaring at him. He could see the shock in Caidine's eyes. He was quite surprised that she hadn't come for Chloe's neck. Perhaps she still considered Chloe as her lecturer.
