Chapter 05
"Increase the speed!" Calvino ordered Khair.
"Alright, sir," Khair replied, and at the same time, he drove the car at high speed towards the waiting jet. The jet plane would take Calvino Luz Kafeel to his homeland, Indonesia.
After traveling for a few minutes, the car that had taken him away arrived at the airport. Khair rushed to open the car door rhythmically.
"Please, sir."
Calvino replied with a warm smile.
His steps were getting wider into the fuselage, with a few bodyguards following him. He wanted to arrive in Indonesia as soon as possible and ensure that his sister was fine.
He then leaned his head on the back of a chair with his eyes closed. However, he didn't really sleep because his mind was still drifting away, thinking about Kiara Larasati.
Calvino still wondered who Kiara Larasati was. And what did she have to do with his beloved sister?
That woman was stuck in Calvino's mind. How could his twin sister get involved in a complicated problem with a dangerous woman like her?
It was long enough that Calvino had been lost in his own thoughts. Not long after, his phone rang with Kenan's name on it. He then immediately picked up the call.
"What important news do you have that you call me this late at night, huh?"
"Sorry, sir. I didn't mean to interrupt your rest."
"SAY IT NOW, Idiot!" Calvino snapped in a rising voice.
"Miss is still not reachable, sir."
"Find her, stupid! Make sure that she is okay."
The news that Kenan had just conveyed had provoked Calvino's anger to the point that curses just flowed down from his lips. Since then, he has not been able to calm down, and the news that Kenan conveyed made him out of breath.
'Oh, Earl. Where are you, sweetheart? Why is your phone still not reachable?' Calvino thought While repeatedly rubbing his face roughly.
To get rid of his worries, he indulged his eyes with a laptop screen, looking for information about Kiara Larasati through social media.
Unfortunately, some of the information posted there didn't provide much information. He couldn't even find a single photo, other than only a few pieces explaining that Kiara Larasati worked at the Grand Pierce Hotel, holding an important position as F&B Manager.
"Shitttt, totally useless," Calvino cursed.
Seeing the young master alone, the flight attendant approached with graceful steps rhythmically with a sexy voice that sounded sensual. "Excuse me, sir."
Calvino immediately looked up. Even though his lips didn't say a word, however, the look in his eyes glared sharply as if to say, 'what's wrong? Say it fast!'
The flight attendant immediately bit her lip to look very sexy and seductive. If the man in front of her wasn't Calvino Luz Kafeel, this woman would have already been dragged into the cabin.
Unfortunately, whatever the temptation was, it didn't affect Calvino at all. Instead, he was so disgusted that he subconsciously snapped. "Say it fast, bitch!"
Being treated to a hardened jaw combined with blazing eyes made the flight attendant's body shiver with fear. "Excuse me, sir. I just wanted to offer, do you need anything?"
Without saying a word, Calvino's eyes sharpened with an undeniable command so that the unknown woman would quickly leave his sight.
"Yes, sir. I'm sorry."
'You shameless, despicable woman.' Calvino cursed in her heart.
After being in the air for several hours, he has now arrived at his destination. Calvino set his feet in his homeland, Indonesia.
His arrival in this country should be wrapped with happiness. Unfortunately, he didn't feel it. Instead, it was covered with mounting emotions due to a woman named Kiara Larasati, who has dragged her beloved sister into danger.
"Speed up!" He ordered Kenan.
"Okay, sir." And at the same time, the car drove at such a high speed.
Not long after, the car that took him away had entered the apartment. Kenan immediately opened the car door.
"Please, sir."
Calvino didn't reply to Kenan's words.
His face still hardened as he took the vast strides towards the elevator that would take him up to the top floor, the floor where Calista Earle Kafeel's room was.
"Shitttt," He cursed as he smacked his hand against the wall because the elevator that took him up to the top floor was very slow.
He could never feel calm before seeing firsthand that his twin sister was fine. He wanted to arrive immediately and take his beloved sister into a hug. Unfortunately, he was still stuck in the elevator.
The corners of his eyes repeatedly glanced at the movement of the increasing numbers until there was a sound, 'Kling.' At the same time, the elevator door opened, indicating that he had arrived at the top floor. With hasty steps, he went straight to Calista's room.
Unfortunately, his arrival at Calista's apartment surprised him by his sister's absence inside the apartment and a woman named Kiara Larasati.
Inevitably, various evil thoughts poisoned his mind.
"Kenan!"
"Yes, sir," Said Kenan as he bowed.
"Where is Earl?"
"She is at the office."
"Kiara?"
"Ms. Kiara has returned to her house this morning before Miss's departure to the office."
"You stupid!" Calvino cursed while pounding the table combined with a deadly sharp gaze.
"You should tell me this important information, Kenan!"
"I'm sorry, sir."
"Gather all the information regarding Ms. Kiara as well as her fiancé."
"Alright, sir. I'll excuse myself." Before leaving, Kenan bowed first as a respectful greeting. However, after only a few steps, he was stopped by a baritone voice, so he immediately turned to his master. "Yes, sir,"
Calvino's sharp, dazzling brown irises were filled with undeniable command. "Don't let Earl find out about this. Got it?!"
"Roger that, sir."
"Hmm, go!"
And after Kenan left, Calvino headed towards the pavilion and sat on a long chair while tilting his head up.
He stared at the sky along with thoughts that were still drifting far away, thinking about who Kiara was. He also wondered about how that woman could be engaged to a criminal? Those questions kept popping up in his mind.
Did Calvino care about Kiara? Absolutely not! All he cared about was his twin sister, Calista Earle Kafeel.
