Chapter 20: Bad Boy Meets Her Mom

***POV CHASE***

School finally ended. As usual, the boring day was made interesting by Aria. I needed to get Courtney to lay her off. She’s such a jealous brat. I’d like to think I made it clear she didn't stand a chance, but it went in one pom-pom and out the other.

The second the final bell went off, I took off. I directed Aria to my bike while I walked behind her to block any views. I was lucky that there were pins to keep her skirt closed. It was a temporary fix, and one I hoped could hold on to until I got her home.

“You’ll find any excuse to get me on your bike,” Aria said with a small smile. I hated seeing her shy away. She only did it for a small amount of time, but it was like watching her spirit break. She bounced back quickly though, and that was extremely attractive.

“You look good on it. Also, it’s the fastest option to reach home,” I said, handing her the helmet. She looked so innocent putting it on. Her hand kept falling to her side to check the pins on her skirt.
