“I need iced coffee like right now,” Hannah said and pulled me into the nearest coffee shop. When I said I would go Christmas shopping with her, I didn’t expect so much energy, but this girl could shop.


After ordering our drinks, thankfully, she paid for mine, we went into a small boutique next door. It was covered in holiday decorations but also had soaps, clothes, and cute stocking stuffers.


“I like this place,” I said, looking around and picking up a small gnome ornament.


“Right? This place is the cutest, and I love their sweaters and tumblers!” Hannah said, her voice rising a few octaves. She started to feel every single sweater in the place as if she was putting her scent on it. I felt weird knowing how many other people had done the same thing.


“So, who all do you need to buy for?” I asked her as she was grabbing a few items off the nearest rack.
