The school was flooded with students. It seemed to be more crowded than usual. With a new semester, it seemed everyone was scrambling for extra time before and after class to work on assignments and make improvements. I was already excited for the end of the day or at least lunch because I skipped breakfast and was starving.


My stomach started to rumble. My hand flew to my stomach instantly. Hannah grabbed it and lowered it to my side.


"Are you trying to give people a chance to spread rumors about a pregnancy again?" she whispered harshly. I was instantly grateful for her. Rumors were a pain in the ass, and they did spread that easily.


"I'm just hungry," I said back to her, thinking about all of the things I wanted to devour later.


The class hadn't even started before Chase, Hannah, and I heard the familiar sounds of Courtney and her crew.
