The next day, Emma, Chase, and I decided to hang out in the city center. They had just opened a new frozen yogurt shop, and Emma was dying to go. She texted me the entire week to remind me of the grand opening. Chase, of course, had no choice.


"Oh my goodness! Isn't this the best thing ever?" Emma squealed and pulled on my hand.


"You know you're sixteen, not six?" Chase asked, and she flipped him off.


"Whatever, this is something new. When was the last time this town had something new, huh?" she asked as we approached the counter.


We each pointed out which toppings we wanted. Emma went crazy and got cookie dough with gummy worms and sweet tarts. Chase ordered just regular chocolate frozen yogurt with M&M's.


"What are you getting?" Emma asked me, looking over my shoulder. I was the last in line, and I couldn't decide what I wanted until it hit me. I wanted all of it.
