Another incredible day was in the books, graduation day. I always knew today would happen, but I doubted Chase did. The rest of the senior class was running around frantically. A few guys had their skateboards and were messing in the quad.
With a class of over two hundred, I hadn't seen Chase all day. Even with our last names being so close, there was a ton more students in between us.
"Can you believe this day is here?" Hannah asked, bumping into me.
"Hardly, this year has felt so surreal," I said, looking at the door I walked through that first day.
"I mean, it ended pretty well," she said.
"Only because I have had you. Seriously, thank you for being a good friend to me," I said.
"The best, of course," she said.
Hannah definitely felt nostalgic and probably worried about when she moved away. I didn't ever want to feel like she had been forgotten. I lunged at her, giving her a big hug.
"Aw, am I missing all the fun already?" Julie asked.
