Stupid Personality

{Andrew's point of view}

I was in the cabin waiting patiently for the report.

I just wanted to extend my hands and take the report from Mr. Fitz's hand who was all too excited telling me how his strategy was going to work for the promotional marketing project.

"I didn't know that Rosabel was so talented." As soon as I heard those words my ears turned sharp. Even though my body was a little more conscious, I still maintained my cold image. I cannot show such changes.

I looked at Mr. Fitz, who was one of my father's old friends. My father respects him a lot. Mr. Fitz is a good man, the best in his field. Maybe that was the reason why the company has progressed so much.

But I knew that it was never a single man's effort, it was the effort of all the members of the team.

I wanted to say a few words but before I had a chance, loud noise started coming from outside.

I was sure this was lunchtime and not too many of the people would be on the floor working. I ignore the noise as I look down at my phone.

I was checking my phone continuously. Maybe I was waiting for a message. Yet I did not receive one.

'Should I message her first or should I wait for her?' There was a lot of confusion in my mind but I could only type and send.

[Andrew- Hey]

The message was sent and before I could anticipate a reply, the noise that was distracting the whole floor came crashing into my room.

"How could you do it?" The angry tone of my cousin was the first thing to hit before I could see her, making Mr, Fitz look at her with wide eyes.

Jane looked at me before turning her gaze to Mr. Fitz. She smiled softly as she nodded her head towards him, but her walk didn't stop as she walked towards me with power strikes. It looked like Jane was on a mission right now.

"What do you think you were doing?" Jane did not stop her words as she stood in front of me.

I rolled my eyes as I looked at Jane. "We'll talk about the process tomorrow morning. Are you sure everything will be ready by then?" I asked Mr. Fitz, who nodded his head.

"Yes, everything will be done." Mr. Fitz looked at Jane as he nodded his head and moved out.

Jane might have felt a little guilty as she said in a soft tone to Mr. Fitz. "I'm sorry that you have to see this."

Mr. Fitz just shook his head. "It's okay. We all know." Mr. Fitz smiled as he closed the door.

Yes, everyone knew about them. Everyone who was close to their family.

"What brings you here?" I asked as I sat comfortably.

"I don't know what is going on between you and Rose, but I've told you to stay away from her. Why can't you do this single thing? Andrew, I think I've been patient with you?" Jane's tone was threatening.

"You have been patient with me?" A burst of laughter left my mouth. "Shouldn't it be me being patient with you? I've even allowed you to stay here in my company, isn't it?"

"Your company? Please, it's the company of my uncle and aunt and you have no right to take me out." Jane laughed as she sat on the chair facing Andrew in full confidence.

"Oh really." I folded my hands as I raised my eyebrow, "From what I can see, I am the one with full authority now. Am I not? Or is there anyone who has more authority from the President?" I said with a smirk.

I knew how irritated Jane was, but I was enjoying myself in this situation.

"Andrew, she is not someone you should be playing around with," Jane said with a sigh. I could feel that Jane was overprotective of Rosabel, but why?

I raised my eyebrows as I asked, "What makes you think that I was playing around with her? Am I that kind of person in your eyes? Have I ever played with anyone?" I asked Jane, who simply laughed sarcastically.

"Have you not? How can you tell lies with such a straight face? You are the President of the biggest entertainment company and yet you want me to believe that you haven't broken the hearts of a thousand girls? Please, give me a break. I'm not your naive cousin. I know what evil mind you have behind that smile."

I shook my head helplessly. "Although I have been a part of many scandals, I can guarantee you, I was never in a relationship before and I've never broken any hearts."

"You are such a liar. Do you want me to believe that you of all the people were never in a relationship? You take me as a fool. And even if you were not, the rumors around you are deadly."

Jane continues, "You don't have any expression. There is only one expression on your face, and that is an annoyance, and know you are behaving all nice and sweet with Rose? I don't want you to hurt her. Andrew. She is an innocent girl. I doubt that she has ever talked back to anyone."

I raised my eyebrows at Jane's words. Who has not talked back to anyone? I found it very hard to believe.

The scene of Rosabel's sarcastic smile in the car came in front of my eyes. Rosabel was smiling when she called me 'Drew'. It was as if she knew that I hated the nickname and yet she tried to push my buttons.

'I can tell Rosabel was anything but innocent. But why was Jane unable to see it?' Jane had sharp eyes and senses. She even knew if someone was acting innocent, so why does my cousin have such a low IQ when it comes to her friend?

"Okay, I understand that you had a word with her. So what did your so-called friend tell you?" When Jane came here I was sure she had a word with Rosabel.

Jane was sad for a few seconds before she said. "Rose told me that you were just helping each other with something and then you'll have nothing to do with one another. She thinks that we are friends."

"Is it?" I smiled as I looked at my phone which had received a reply.

[Rose- Hi]

"Your lunch?" I asked Jane as I typed it in the chat as well.

Jane raised her eyebrows. "You are acting like a crazy person. You have never asked me such a question?" Jane said as she got up from the chair, "Anyways, Rose is waiting for me for lunch. I just wanted to remind you, don't go near her and give her false hope. I don't want to see one of my best friends shattered into pieces because of your stupid personality."

Jane left the room with a bang.

'I think I was not the only one with the personality. My mother's side of the family has a lot of tempers too.' I shook my head as I looked down waiting to get a reply. Annoyingly, my heart was beating faster as there was anticipation in my gaze.
