39. Off to the Kenwood's Mansion.
Soon they arrives at Bryan's house and they got off the car. Bryan told his driver that they would be out shortly.
As soon as they entered into the house, as usual the maids were waiting to welcome them. They saw that they couple came in together even though they did not go out together.
"You are welcome Mr Bryan and Mrs. Alexa." Beatrice said Bowing her head a little as the others were behind her.
"Thank you Beatrice. Also we will not be having dinner here tonight. My grand mother invited us for dinner at the Mansion so help us quickly prepare so will leave soon. You know my grandparents hate late coming." Bryan said.
Alexa looked at Beatrice and wished she could see her heart that she was not too comfortable meeting them tonight. She swallowed her saliva and turned as Beatrice followed her to help her out.
They got inside the room and Bryan went straight to his closet he took off his clothes and went to take a quick shower. It was a busy day for him.
Beatrice got out a blue Prada jacket and a black trouser with white t shirt, some detachable gold buttons for the sleeve of the shirt and a pair of black Gucci shoes.
She suggested a nice simple one hand black sparkling gown, it had lots of shimmers in it. It was beautiful. It was from one of the gowns a lady brought to the house that Bryan had ordered after their wedding with some others because they had not really had time to go for shopping for Alexa.
Soon Bryan was out and he went to his closet, and Alexa went in to have a quick shower and Beatrice left.
Later she was out and a younger maid came in to help her put on her clothes and make up and soon they were also done with her hair.
She wore a nice silver heel and silver purse.
As she came out, Bryan was waiting in the sitting room, the helps were really fast that they got her ready in time.
Bryan saw her coming and she looked really beautiful. Though Alexa was from a poor family raised by just her Mom, she looked elegant and her skin was radiant that you would think she was from a royal home.
"You look beautiful Darling," Bryan said as he reached for her hands and pulled her gently to himself as he stared at her knowing fully well that the helps were watching.
"Thank you honey," Alexa said. Then Bryan gently placed a kiss on her soft red painted lips to avoid getting stained.
She was shaking but held herself so well and grabbed her purse tightly as she received the kiss from her husband.
They smiled at each other, only them knew it was not entirely genuine.
"Shall we?" Bryan said.
"Yes we shall," Alexa replied.
They bid Beatrice and the rest maids goodnight and they met the driver out who had changed the car to a horse blood Range Rover and they hopped in and left for the Kenwood Mansion.

At the Kenwood Mansion, dinner was set as Bryan's grand mother got everything organized with Rosita and she was looking lovely herself with her dark blue Velvet gown with white Coral beads on her neck and her wrist.
Her hair properly combed to the side and. pinned with a silver hairpin. As she organised the dinner to suit the taste of her grandson and his wife, Her husband came down and noticed how busy she was.
"When you get all worked up over dinners like this I presume Bryan is coming," Mr Peter Kenwood said.
"Yes honey he is coming for dinner with Alexa, so you too go get ready they will soon get here," grand ma said.
"Well OK then, I will be down shortly. Well doing everyone," he said and he went upstairs to get ready.

While the couple were inside the Jeep going to grandpa's place for dinner, Fred calls Bryan to let him know that he had drawn out some paper works and will be sending it to his email so he can take a look at it before he sends them to Susan and get it ready for Sunday.
"Good work Fred, but also have Susan look at it now and bought of you finalize the paper works before Sunday evening and have it sent to me to make last changes," Bryan said.
"Got it", Fred replied.
"I am on my way to grandpa's for dinner so we will talk later, Thank you," Bryan said and then cuts the call.
He looked at Alexa and noticed she was a little bit tensed.
"Relax dear, all will be OK, we just want to go eat and have some discussions and we will be off OK?" Bryan said.
Alexa took a deep breath and calmed down a little.
"I will try to be calm," Alexa said.
Soon they arrived at the Kenwood Mansion, as they drove into the estate, Bryan's grand mom was outside waiting to receive them. Some men approached the Jeep and opened the doors for the couple, they came down elegantly and greeted Mrs. Kenwood.
"Hello grand mom, you look stunning. At your age you can take any man's breathe away," Bryan complimented her. She smiled and gave him a kiss on both cheeks as she hugged her baby boy so tight.
"How are you my Prince? Mrs. Kenwood asked.
"I am Well grand mom but I miss you," Bryan said. "I miss you too my son," she replied.
Alexa just stood there behind Bryan and watched them how they showed their love t each other.
"Come here my daughter, you look like an Angel. How are you my Darling?" granny said to Alexa as she approached her and kissed her as well.
"I am fine ma'am, Thank you for having us tonight," Alexa said.
"It is always a delight seeing your beautiful face my dear."
