The Wedding Day

Leilani

I moved to stand in front of the massive wall sized mirror, eyes going wide when I saw my reflection staring back at me. Oh. My. Goodness. My lips parted for a moment in raw, utter awe before I dissolved into a delighted smile.

I looked… beautiful. That word did not even cut it. I looked so ethereally beautiful. Out of this world. This was more than I have ever dreamed of, and I was having trouble believing what my eyes could see in the mirror right now. "Oh my god…" I breathed, blinking at my own reflection, faintly registering the fact that my bridesmaid was busy arranging my 15-foot-long royal wedding dress train around the space behind me.

Thankfully, it was a presidential suite, so the rooms were large enough to accommodate my outrageously, show-stopping and impressively long wedding train without squeezing it. Ashley appeared in front of me, her smile watery and full of pride. "Do you like it, baby sis?"
