The usual anger I expected to feel was absent. The reason why I told the X-man to keep the girl away from me was because I was very sure that I wouldn't want to be in her present.
Now, inside the kitchen and in front of the coffeemaker, I stared at the girl with timid blue eyes, beautiful hair and a very delicate looking body, I felt a tug in my chest.
She looks awfully familiar one minutes, and looks like a stranger she is, the next. I find that I don't want to depart from her presence. In fact, I want to know more.
