CHAPTER 20: THE GREAT CHANGE

There was even electricity in the house which reduced her worries. She could also watch T.V while inside so she could no longer be bored and she also put the screen in the living room and she could change it at will.

Juanita also received free fruit seeds of apples and this was good news to someone like her who was dying to have some fruits but she wasn’t sure how long it will take before the apples are ripe.

The urgent thing to do was to look at the store and see if there was something that she could afford and buy. She wanted her life to change greatly and she didn’t mind spending to get it.

As she clicked onto the category, she wanted she took in some breath, shocked by how expensive some of the things were. After browsing through the expensive list which contained some of the things, she didn’t even want she clicked onto the cheaper list.

She opened her eyes wide and wanted to see everything and not miss a single item. Surely those who work hard will always be rewarded. Juanita danced a victory dance as she saw a healing seed that was priced at the range of two to one hundred gems.

Juan had only three gems at hand which means that she could afford something at least. In the end, she carefully read about the seeds that were priced at two and three gems.

In the end, she found a seed being sold at three gems, even though it was going to take all of her gems, it was worth it. This particular seed will germinate to become a tree just like an apple but it only bears fruit to ten fruits.

The fruits can be eaten in any way and only a maximum of three can be eaten by one person to get better. They were good at removing scars, healing internal injuries, and detoxification.

In other words, her problems could be easily solved by taking three of these fruits. She only had to sacrifice her only three gems for this happiness and stop worrying about being plastic after having the surgery.

Juan shed tears of happiness and she clicked on the buy button and seconds later, a small seed was in the barn. She didn’t need to be told by anyone what to do as she gave commands immediately to have this particular seed be planted.

What was shocking was how this tiny seed took the whole plot of land to be planted. Who knew the system will plant the seed in the middle of the plot? In the end, Juan was left with only three plots she could use, of which two of them were still with some cabbages and carrots she had planted earlier.

Remembering the free apple seeds, she received after leveling up, she began to plant them in the empty plot and was relieved seeing the ten seeds all planted in one plot of land.

At least the harvest will be better than planting one tree in a plot of land. Juanita told herself countless times to calm down as she didn’t want to die because of over-excitement.

The healing fruit was going to be harvested in one week, so there was still time for her to do other things. Juan checked the house once more and was very satisfied with it.

Juanita after everything that had happened to her, was no longer in the mood to go gathering anymore so she decided to go take a warm bath in her new bathtub and just chill and she watches some T.V.

When she was in the changed bedroom that came with the furniture as well, she was happy and in a good mood. She felt bad that her dad’s furniture was gone and some of the furniture she bought before but the new ones were better than the ones she used to have.

They have done their job and it was time to enjoy the new and discard the old. Juan took off her clothes and didn’t even bother to look at herself. Juan was someone who no longer likes looking at her reflection as she knows that what she will see in the mirror will only upset her.

So, Juan who had not seen her body in a long time, was shocked when she accidentally saw her body in the mirror that was in the bathroom.

“How….how is this even possible?” she asked herself in a murmur as she looked at the body she couldn’t recognize at all.

Who knew that a body that was filled with horrible scars and patches was looking so different? Because of the burnt marks, Juanita no longer wore short clothes or clothes that reveals her body.

So, looking at her flat stomach that didn’t have that horrible scar but a better-looking one, Juanita could only cry as she hugged her body with happiness. She had been suffering so hard because of this for years.

No matter what cream she applied on her body, nothing has ever changed and yet in such a short span of a month, her skin was looking much better like this. Juanita was very grateful and felt that everything that had happened to her so far was worth it.

“Thank you, thank you!”

This was the only thing that Juanita could say as she let her body sink into the tub that was filled with warm water. it was also the first day that Juan enjoyed taking a bath so much, she couldn’t stop touching her skin and body as she was mesmerized by her own skin.

When she was done, she stared at her own reflection as tears streamed down her cheeks. The scars on her face and neck were still horrible but now that she was looking closer at herself, she could tell that they were better than before.

As for the scars in hidden places, they were all better even though there were still there.

“After one week, all the scars will be gone and finally I can be normal again. When that happens, I will go and see my parents. I can finally go clubbing and look for dates. I can’t wait!” Juanita was so happy that she began to make plans already.

On this day, Juanita watched T.V and enjoyed her food with no worries. The next day she resumed her work once more as she was in a hurry to leave and she also paid for the parking for only two weeks and no more than that.

Juanita after finding that ginseng, searched the mountain with eagles’ eyes as she kept on praying to find something like that again but it was hard to be lucky twice so no matter how much she tried finding another ginseng, she didn’t find it. But she didn’t give up, as she had been a patient person for a very long time.
