Chapter forty-three

I flipped my dark hair while staring at myself in the mirror, smiling confidently.

I did look good today.

"Ma...daa" I could hear Charlie talking in the kitchen flapping her toys in the air.

She was growing really fast, I wish her mom could see it. She had not contacted me in any way after that day she gave me Charlie. Sometimes I wonder if she abandoned her.

If she really did abandon her, what was I meant to tell Charlie when she grew up?

I shook the negative thoughts coming to me. Slapping myself on the cheek.

When I asked granny about werewolf babies. Just to not have any surprises.

The only information I could get was that they grew faster than a normal human baby intellectually and physically.

But we have been together for close to five months and nothing has changed.

What if she had issues.
