Chapter forty-four

I tucked her in, as she went back to sleep.

I placed my hands on my waist, looking around the overturned place.

I needed to clean up and move out.

I couldn't stay here anymore, the babysitter might come back and start asking questions. I needed to hurry.

I cleaned the broken crib and some other pieces of furniture.

What happened here?

Well, as long as no one was harmed I was fine.

After I was done cleaning up the place. Maybe I over cleaned it, like I would when I wanted to clean my tracks. Should I have killed there and then?

No, I mentally slapped myself going to the wardrobes to pack up my stuff and hurriedly dumped all the clothes into the boxes I had dropped on the floor squeezing all of them in.

I had called an Uber already waiting outside for me.

"Is this all your luggage",

" uh uh this is all," I said, going back into the house.

I went to where Charlie was already sitting up waiting for me.
