Chapter forty-five

When I opened the door this evening, I finally realised the universe has been trying to tell me something since this morning.

Let's rewind to this morning when I just woke up. shall we?

We still stayed in the hotel in the meantime. I planned to move later in the afternoon after getting leave from work.

At work, I went to the managing director but he wasn't in his seat. I had to leave and there wasn't much time to waste.

Instead, I saw the vending machine guy. He stood at the doorway waiting, I greeted him and why did I bother he just stared at me.

I took that as a no.

Going to look for the MD who was not in his seat. I came out and he was still there.

"You could have told me he wasn't there"

"And why would I bother?" he raised an eyebrow.

I grunted but couldn't say anything further, then I stood beside him, also waiting.
