Present Day
Tillie had never been never entirely sure if the Fae had decorated the Silver Dragon’s chambers believing that they did so genuinely to please the Lord of the Silver Dragon, or as some type of twisted pun.
Where the rest of the Fae Court’s furnishings were delicately wrought, ornate and covered in fragile fabrics, the furniture in the Silver Dragon’s suite was heavy, solid, stained black, and covered in studded leather. Where the Fae leaned toward gauzy curtains in pale tones, the Silver Dragon’s chamber’s drapes were heavy and dark. And where the Fae white-washed the wooden floors and covered them in soft furs, on the Silver Dragon’s floor, a massive bear fur chewed upon the dark wood.
