A middle-aged man ran across the various academy facilities while holding a teenage boy whose clothes were covered in dirt and blood. The man didn't stop no matter who it was that tried to call out to him be it, a friend or coworker, he ignored them all as a single thought ran through his mind, "Faster I have to be faster or else it'll be too late!"

The man's heart was beating frantically as Kira's breath grew fainter by the second. Everyone was discussing this matter after seeing the teacher madly dash through them as well as felt a few droplets of blood spray they couldn't help but let out the loudest scream of their lives that seemed to emerge from the deepest parts of their souls.

Everywhere the middle-aged man didn't stop for anything as he headed towards one specific direction steering a large commotion behind him where ever he went.

Kira's bloody uniform along with his pale face gave witnesses the idea that the teacher might have gone overboard and accidentally injured the poor boy but upon closer observation, one can tell that these aren't any ordinary nor light injuries.

everyone in the alliance is taught basic first aid from a young age so they can save themselves and their comrades if a situation occurs that leads to getting injured no matter if it's during battle or not. The teaching quality of teachers drastically improved with time and to make it so that children can keep up with what the teachers are teaching the government pulled all its resources and personnel to come up with a solution to this crisis.

3 years went by with only a few ideas being put on the drawing board but nothing further being finalized at least not until a solo scientist whose name has been lost to time came up with the idea to give pregnant women specialized medication that can help to boost the child's overall talents before they were even born.

Everyone welcomed this solution with open arms especially when the pregnant women cause they wanted their child to achieve great things and make them proud to have given birth to them but a few months after the medication was launched the government received an unprecedented an amount of complaints and reports about some areas going on strike because of the unfair acts performed by the government towards their children just because they were born a bit earlier.

Unsurprisingly is that the majority of the participants of the strike were women. The government released a statement informing the public to calm down because they have already long since begun running experiments on a device that'll not only be used on children but the entire human race as a whole.

The public was elated to hear those words since even the most behaved citizens were having conflicted hearts about this matter because they also thought that it was unfair. 

After a few months following the release of the special medicine, the government released the device that they had promised to the public. The device was in the form of a nanochip and was to be implanted into a person's brain to make it work but what made people love the product so much to make it an instant success was that it didn't have an age limit meaning all people of different ages could use it.

The skyrocketing success and popularity of the nanochips inspired the government to delve further into the development of different types of nanochips for various uses. The nanochips acted as a second brain for humans that can calculate, analyze, learn, and process information in a far more superior manner than the average brain could ever hope to achieve. In simple words, it turned everyone into super-geniuses.

Given the children's super-fast analysis they could quickly pinpoint the cause of Kira's injuries but that only made them more suspicious of the curious situation in front of them since one does not just accidentally break another person's ribs to the point that they need to be immediately sent to the hospital.

Black Star Academy had plenty of hospitals built in different locations around it for emergencies such as this. After a few minutes of running around the middle-aged man finally arrived at the nearest hospital that he could find and quickly dashed onto the counter and told the lady that there was an emergency.

The lady behind the counter was typing on a hollow graphic keyboard as her finders danced throughout the keyboard in an elegant and refined manner as if it were as natural as breathing. The counter lady was focused on her work but she suddenly halted her movements and reached for her earpiece and contacted one of the hospital's doctors informing them that it was an emergency.

It did not even take 3 minutes for someone to show up with a stretcher as a few more followed behind him and helped to place Kira gently on the stretcher to avoid making his injuries even more severe. The nurses pushed the unconscious Kira that lay peacefully on his scroller.

The nurses pushed Kira into the emergency room for immediate surgery and a few doctors went shortly after as well.

The middle-aged man couldn't enter the emergency room so he could only wait patiently in the waiting room for the surgery to finish so he can get some news from the doctors. When the middle-aged man got some time to himself his mind started to wander as the memories from earlier between him and his partner resurface themselves in his head.

A few minutes ago

"Damn psychopath I told you to step away from him!!"

"Are you ignoring me now huh you bastard!?"

"I demand that you take a few steps back or else I'll shoot you!"

Shouting filled the room but all of it was coming out of a single person's mouth. The middle-aged man who was cursing at the other middle-aged man and calling him crazy at this moment sounded as if he was the crazy one.

The middle-aged man who was protecting Kira was stunned to see the deformed expression on his partner's face when he took a glance at Kira's score was so ugly that if one didn't see it personally they would never believe that a person can make such a face.

After a long period, the psychotic middle-aged man finally regained his composure and took slow steps as he backed away from Kira before hurryingly exiting the room leaving both Kira and his partner behind without saying even a single word.

The psychotic middle-aged man's actions greatly surprised the middle-aged man because he knew his partner better than most people so he knew of his relentless personality that doesn't give up on something that can attract his interest his attention like a dog on a bone so seeing him act in such a way made the middle-aged man feels something was amiss.

No matter how hard the man thought about what was going on right under his nose he just ended up with more questions so he decided to stop trying to overthink things and directly ask Kira himself to find out his side of the story and to also inform him of the upcoming Field Examinations that will be taking place in a few days. 

After running around and fighting his partner the middle-aged man could feel the fatigue build up in his body prompting him to take a well-deserved rest but before closing his eyelids he took in the spectacular view surrounding him.

Although this was a hospital with generic white walls the architectural design was indeed marvelous and the hollow graphic posters on the walls and occasional staff walking through the halls tied this place together making it a textbook example of what a hospital was.
