Chapter 22 : Library Debate

Eleanore's POV

There are a lot of things I have seen when I walked through the doors of the library for my shift.

Working at the library does for the most part entail customer service and as such there are many, many experiences I've had that were shocking to me. But I don't think anything could have topped what I walked into that day.

"The failure of appeasement was a great factor, though!" Robert yelled, his face was red and excited from what I was assuming was a very thrilling conversation topic for him.

It wasn't often that I saw him this excited to speak to someone, in the sense that I had never seen him excited to speak to someone ever. Besides myself, Robert barely held conversation long enough to get into topics that interest him.

So imagine my surprise when I walked into the library that day to see him and Rhett fully engaged in a discussion about World War Two and the implications, results, and horrors of it.
