Chapter 58: What's The Move?

Eleonore’s POV

“Are you sure you don’t want to stay a little longer?” I found myself smiling at Sally’s request. “The boys won’t mind a bit; I can tell you that much for sure.”

I had stayed in the boy’s home for nearly a week after the incident had happened. During that time, I had become quite used to many of the reoccurring members of the pack, like Claudius or even Sally, both a part of something Rhett called the elder council.

I shook my head at her request before pulling out my phone, ready to tell her I had other things to be sorted out. As great as these past few days had been, I still had a job and school and couldn’t abandon those things completely.

Just as I had opened the notes app and began typing, my phone rang, indicating a video call from Sabrina.

“Eleonore?” She called out, and the image of her driving behind a steering wheel popped up. I tried to suppress the amusement on my face that grew at seeing her confused expression. “I think I’m at the right gate?”
