Invasion pt.1

The agents had finally set off, as they were on a mission to take out the Octarians once and for all. 3 was lost in thought as they were walking, thinking about how to try and help 8. 4 looked at 3 with a concerned look on her face.

"Hey 3, are you okay?" 4 asked.

3 broke out of thought and looked at 4 with a normal expression.

"Yeah, i'm fine." She said.

"Okay.. if you say so." 4 said, going back to talking with Alex, who was eating a rice ball. 3 began to think again, not noticing that it began to get dark out. The only think that once again snapped her out of thought, was the sound of Marie talking to the group.

"Alright everyone, we are stopping here for the night. 2 agents per tent." Marie instructed. Callie began to pitch everyone's tent for the night. After she did that, her and Marie got into their's and closed the zipper. Jake and Alex went into a tent together, leaving 4 and 3 to the last tent.

"Heh, guess we're stuck with each other." 4 said, happy that she wasn't stuck with someone annoying. 3 nodded as 4 opened the tent, going inside. 3 followed and closed the zipper once she got in. 4 was already changing into her pajamas, 3 blushed a bit, but didn't mind. 3 took off her hero jacket and put it to the side. 4 climbed into her sleeping bag and soon fell asleep. 3 did the same, however she didn't fall asleep as quickly a 4 did. She looked at 4, and then back to herself, then fell asleep.

3 was woken up in the morning due to the sound of birds chirping. 3 slowly blinked her eyes as she got up, she looked over to 4's bed and noticed that she wasn't there. 3 assumed that 4 was already awake, which wasn't all that shocking. 3 got up, put on her jacket, and unzipped the tent. She shivered at the cool morning air, she closed the tent and walked over to 4, who was drinking coffee next to Marie.

"Hey 4." 3 said, sounding more awake now. 4 turned around.

"Oh, hey 3!" 4 responded, sounding much more awake then 3 was. 4 turned back to the dying fire and began sipping her coffee again. Marie turned around and waved to 3, who had already walked off.

3's p.o.v

I walked over to Alex and Jake, who were also drinking coffee.

"Geez, why is everyone drinking freaking coffee!" I thought, I walked away from them and sat down next to Callie, who was grinning while watching 4 and Marie. I asked her what she was doing and she said that she was just shipping 4 and Marie. I let out a small chuckle and sat down next to her. And once again, I was lost in thought. Though again I was snapped back when everyone got up and packed up.

Third Person p.o.v

"Okay everyone, let's continue." Marie said, leading the way with Callie. Jake looked back at the two girls who were trailing behind.

"You guys are going slow." Jake said. 3 ignored his remark while 4 stuck her tongue out at him. Jake let out a chuckle and turned back around, going back to his normal walking pace. 3 began to speed up, as she didn't want to be left behind. 4 also picked up the pace so she could catch up to 3.

"You still planning to get that octoling?" 4 asked, trying to be as quiet as possible so the others wouldn't hear.

3 nodded, not mentioning the chase she had with him a couple days before.. 4 shrugged off the fact that 3 was acting a bit strange, but it was nothing that she wasn't use to. As 4 had been on plenty of missions with 3 to know her well enough that this was normal, or so she thought it was. 3 was pulled out her phone and looked through her messages. Nothing was out of the ordinary, as she always got texts from her best friend, who was away on a trip. 3 then put her phone away when she heard a bit of rustling from the nearby bushes. Then everyone stopped, Jake pulled out his roller and began to check the bushes to see if anything was there. And when he told everyone that he didn't see anything, everyone began to walk again.
