Chapter Seven: Worse For Worse

Gabriel and Shawn had been talking to Shawn's Parents, trying their best to figure out how to fix the issues but realizing they still had several things they had yet to ask .

" The people of the Underworld need a place to stay until things calm down. Would we be able to move them here father temporarily? " Shawn asks. " Of course. We can arrange something for them." Shawn's Father dissappears for a moment which leaves Shawn and Gabriel with Shawn's mother.

" Well, we also need to find Kara " Gabriel adds to which Ishtir smiles. " Ooooh Kara..so beautiful and so strong " She smiles. She had heard stories of the fabled Princess who would Unite the Underworld someday and she had always wanted the chance to meet her.

" Pardon me for asking, but are you two...um..ya know" Ishtir asks which catches Shawn's attention and leaves Gabriel speechless.

" Its complicated" Shawn speaks on Gabriel's behalf who shoots him a look of thanks.

" Well..if things don't work out..you could always marry one of my daughters. They are young and beautiful.." Ishtir smiles and claps her hands summoning Shawn's sisters to the room. " Mom..we don't have time for this.." Shawn tries to explain as his sisters Circle around Gabriel, commenting how handsome and strong he looked.

" I wanna eat him up " Xelima, the youngest of the daughters licks her lips. " Forget that, I want him to eat ME up" Valshi smirks which makes Gabriel extremely uncomfortable. " Who wants to be a good boy?" Esione bites her lip as she begins rubbing Gabriel's shoulders. " I've got something you can fetch " Yetemeh squeals.

" Shawn.." Gabriel looks to him with a worried look who tried to swat his sisters away. " Oh bugger off Brother. Let us play with the puppy " Esione wraps her arms around Gabriel's neck.

" Shaaaaawn " Gabriel says in a more high pitched tone. " GET OFF HIM YA DAMN VULTURES" Shawn again tries swatting them away but Valshi raises her foot and Kicks Shawn, blasting him through one of the walls. " Come with us " Yetemeh Whispers seductively as they drag Gabriel out of his chair and begin carrying him down the hall.

" SHAWWWWWN FOR FUCKS SAKE" Gabriel screams. Valshi had a Gabriel's left arm whilst Esione had his right arm. Yetemeh and Xelima followed. " Shhh" Xelima smiles as she pulls out what seems to be a ham bone and shivers it in Gabriel's mouth.

" Shawn jumps out for the hole he had made and rushes after his sisters to save Gabriel but Is stopped by his Father appearing in front of him " Oh let them have fun. Gabriel probably needs this to" Roshak smiles and escorts Shawn back to the table. " Why would you let them take him. They are going to eat him alive.." Shawn question his mother. " Because I want them to get married already dammit. It's been a thousand years and they aren't getting any younger"

Shawn should have known better than to try and reason with his parents. When they had their mind set on something, nothing would stand in the way of it.

Meanwhile, Lysette had agreed to let Raven venture to the Witch Kingdom. They agreed they would meet up soon as everything had been prepared. Raven had already left and found herself standing Outside the Castle Walls.

" Dammit..I need to work on that " Shawn had been teaching Raven how to teleport and she was learning pretty quickly. Though sometimes she was a little bit off. It was frustrating but she knew she would get better someday.

Raven steps through the city walls and finds the town completely empty. Noone, not a single person was left. This puzzled Raven. " Did they evacuate from the fear of the skyfall?" Raven continued to search through the empty town, looking for any signs of life but still found nothing. " I guess im gonna be checking the surrounding towns...maybe I'll find them there " Raven hoped as she teleported away from the city.

Lysette meanwhile, had been wandering the castle. She had gathered the town together and needed to check the castle to make sure that she wasn't going to leave anything behind of importance. As she walked past Gabriel's room, she noticed the door had been cracked open. " hm" She originally was going to just close the door but something drew her inside the castle.

An open drawer, that stuck out from everything else in the room. She entered the room and made her way over to the drawer, intending to close the drawer when she noticed something in it that caught her eye. She reached down and retrieved a tiny compass like item. This was the same trinket that Gabriel had used to traverse between the Earth to the Underworld.

But Lesette recognized this item all too well. She had seen it only once before but the last time she had seen it was the same night that Gabriel's parents had died. " How...? " Lysette questions, dropping the item in horror, stumbling back away from the item as though it meant her some great harm, tripping backwards and hitting her head on the floor.

Kara stared blankly, ignoring the question Gwen had asked. She couldn't find the words to speak. Her mind had stopped completely and she felt as though her heart had stopped beating all together.

" Of course she has a good reason" Jack snickers.

" She wanted to make him feel bad for not choosing her" he explained which made Gwen shove him back even further which only made him snicker more.

" Kara wouldn't do that. She isn't twisted.." Gwen looked back to Kara, expecting some sort of defense to come from her.

" She is a little psychopath. Hell sister, she only used you to get off and train. She didn't care about you. She doesn't care about anyone except her self. She would sell anyone out. She would watch them all burn to her own flames just so she could get what she wants " Pierce stepped foward and shoved Gwen aside. " Isn't that right, Kara? " He grabs her face, squeezing her cheeks tightly together, mushing her face and distorting it. " She had to be the victim. She couldn't let Gabriel go through so much without having an excuse for what she did" Pierce shoves Kara's head back into the wall making her look him into his eyes. " You are fucking sick. You got sympathy for something that never even happened to you. But don't worry, you are going to suffer in the end " Peirce looks to Kara's hand. " You are going to suffer more than you could ever realize..and when you do..just know..we are going to enjoy every second of it" and with that, Jack, Pierce and Gwen dissapear from the room. Vanishing into thin ear. Kara's head slumps down, making her look at the floor.

And though she wanted the silence more than ever now despite her wishes earlier, she hears another voice.

" You couldn't just let us be happy, could you? " Victoria now calls out to Kara.

" Please....stop.." Kara whimpers as Victoria approaches her.

" I asked you to do the same but you didn't. You never stopped trying to stick your nose in my business did you? " Victoria lifts Kara's head back up. " You are a fucking liar. You say you don't love him but you do. You could never stop loving him. And when he finally gave himself to you, you turned away from him. Was it because I was no longer in the picture? Did you only want him then? " Victoria slaps Kara across the face, with deliberate force.

" You got the chance I never got with him. And yet you turned him away. You made him feel horrible. For your lies. For your emotions. And you still turned him down" Victoria punches Kara in her gut, hard and deep which makes Kara cough.

"Admit that you love him " Victoria punches Kara in the gut. Stirring the insides of Kara.

" SAY IT!! " Victoria punches Kara again. Harder than before.

Kara could feel the pain, but she couldn't bring herself to answer Victoria's demands. " You are dead.." Kara breathes heavily, struggling to keep her breath " Because you wanted to protect Santara. And even if you had not died..Gabriel chose you. I let it go " Kara kept a blank expression, refusing to give in to Victoria. She was trying so hard to be strong.

" That is Bullshit and you know it. When he thought I had come back. He married me but he didn't want me. He wanted you. He said he was concerned for Lysette..but he wanted you" Victoria grabs her head in anger and paces around the room.

" Why do you care..you were dead. He couldn't have had the real you even if he did want you" Kara coughs, a little blood coming spilling out of her mouth. " And even so...it's not my fault that he didn't want you "

Victoria steps foward and punches Kara directly in her face, slamming her head back into the wall again. " HE DIDNT WANT ME BECAUSE OF YOUR FUCKING BULLSHIT. YOU FUCKED IT ALL UP. YOU FUCKED UP EVERYTHING" Victoria screams, tears dripping from her eyes.

" That is not my fault. You can say it is but it isn't. You don't have to believe me. If you want to kill me, then just kill me " Kara's words echoed through an empty room. Victoria had dissapeared and Kara felt a sense of dread. She knew things could only get worse from here.

"KARA?" A door opens in the distance and Gabriel stands in the entrance. " Gabriel rushes to Kara who couldn't believe it to be him. It was too good to be true. " What happened? Shawn and Raven told me what happened? " Gabriel explains as he uncuffs Kara from her chains. " I...Im..Gabriel...I dont know what happened. I blacked out and I was here. I don't know how- " Kara's explination is interrupted by her coughing out blood as she falls to her knees once she had been free'd.

" Its okay, I am here now. You are safe now " He explains as he tries to lift her up and carry her out of the room. They find themselves in a long dark hallway and Gabriel runs through the hallway with Kara in his arms.

" I thought you wouldn't come for me " Kara confesses as blood pours from her mouth and down her chin, and onto her shirt.

" I will always come for you. I'm your Protector, remember? " Gabriel tries to comfort Kara who smiles as blood continues pouring from her mouth and she lays her head back over his arm.

" I did it Gabriel. I lied " Kara's vision was getting Blurry " You lied about what? " Gabriel asked.

" I wasn't pregnant. I lied. I don't know why I did but I did. I'm sorry..I don't know what I was thinking "

" I don't care about that right now..I just wanna get you to safety " Gabriel continues running down the hall. " I love you..I'm sorry. I shouldn't have turned you away. I shouldn't have left you behind. I should have just told you the truth from the beginning. I was so selfish. I wanted you all to myself " Kara confessed as her words began to slur. " I fucking love you. I didn't fuck Pierce because I wanted you to be my first. But I fucked up..I fucked Gwen..and I took that chance away from you " but Gabriel didn't respond to this. He just continued running.

" I was alone. You had Victoria back and I just wanted the pain to stop. I didn't want to feel empty anymore. But even when I was with her. I thought of you" Kara thinks back to her moments with Gwen. She had enjoyed herself so much. The taste of Gwen on her lips and the feeling of Gwen between her legs was ecstasy for her. But she wished it was Gabriel " God I wished it was you. " Kara sobbed as she wiped the blood from her mouth.

" If I die here, Gabriel I want you to know..I'm okay with it. If you can't make it to me in time. If you can't get to me. If you can't save me. I forgive you.." Gabriel closed her eyes, and found herself back in the dark room. She was still chained to the wall but her injuries had healed completely. Kara kept her eyes closed. " Gabriel..."
