" The Kingdoms have fallen, my king" a lone Vampire reports to his King and Queen. " Have they been reduced to nothing? " the King asks, as he sits up in his black throne.
" Most of the Lycans are dead and the entire Kingdom has been destroyed. The witches, the people were gone by the time we arrived by the city was destroyed and the Castle is no longer usable " The Vampire reports which only makes the King smile widely. " Good...the Underworld is ours..and now..it is time to feast"
Raven and Shawn discussed what had happened, explaining that without his sisters, He would have never made it out of Outworld. They came to the conclusion to take his Siblings in. They had helped them in the battle and had stayed loyal to Shawn and it was the least that they could do. Lysette was offered a place to stay but she denied the request. She instead ventured back to her family home, where she would stay and try to look for any Lycans that had made it out of the battle with their lives.
Kalivare, had also denied a request to say at their home and instead was offered a Shack that Raven had not used in a long time. If it still stood, then he was more than welcome to have it and he agreed to this. The Shack wasn't too far away from his daughters Kingdom though he knew he wasn't welcomed there. He understood it though. He was glad to finally be out of his prison and could get back to living in a world that was now almost completely foreign to him. As he sat down in the old chair, kicking a cloud of dust in the air, Kalivare pulled a small trinket from his pocket. A small Green glowing orb that he had snatched from Gabriel as he carried him through Outworld.
" What are you..."? He asked the Orb whom didn't respond. It simply continued glowing. He had only taken it from Gabriel because the object called to him at the time. He felt drawn to it for some reason. He wasn't sure why but he knew he had to keep it safe for the time being. It seemed helpless, defenseless and alone. But he would keep it safe.
Kara layed on the ground, she was alive but weak. She had used all of her energy in stopping the barrage and was exhausted. She knew she would need to gather her strength but that might some time and she could only hope that she would survive for that long.
" Kara Hurt? " A familiar voice calls out to Kara. It was Gooblin, who had no real reason for being where he was but yet he was there. He helped Kara to her feet and teleported them both back to the Palace where he sat her down in her throne.
" Thank you Gooblin.." Kara coughs as she sits back in the throne. She knew she couldn't fix everything, but she had taken a step in the right direction.
" Where wolf man? " Gooblin asked with a concerned look in his eyes.
" He is dead.." Kara answers, staring at the door across the Hall. Hoping that somehow, Gabriel would step through and be fine. And that he could embrace her once again and they could finally have the time that they so desperately needed together.
" Oh..Gooblin sad"
Kara looks down to see Gooblin sitting down beside the throne on the ground and places his hands over his eyes in distress. " It makes me sad too Gooblin. I want to bring him back but I know the risk. I know he wouldn't the same. So I won't risk it. If he can't be himself then he deserves to rest in peace for once. " Kara continued staring at the door, noticing every little detail in the engravings on it. They were runes of some type and looked beautiful and natural.
" Gooblin know way. Gooblin have confession " Gooblin turns to Kara who couldn't take her eyes off the door. " Gooblin lie to wolf man. Gooblin tell him wrong thing to keep him from big problem " Gooblin explains as Kara finally takes her eyes from the door and places them on Gooblin. " What are you talking about..? " Kara asked, finally being able to concentrate on him.
" Wolf Girl not right for wolf man. Kara right for wolf man. Gooblin lie to Wolf man. Gooblin know real way. Gooblin know good way. Gooblin help Kara " He smiles and nudges his hand against Kara's knee.
" You can help me get him back? Kara asked with enthusiasm. If he was telling the truth, that would mean that she could finally have Gabriel back. She could finally apologise for everything that happened. She could finally make things right for once.
" Yes. Gooblin help" he smiled and took Kara' s hand and began to lead her down a long hallway which turned off into another hallway. There were so many hallways in this Palace that Kara was beginning to lose track. She had lived her for so long and yet, she didn't remember any of these halls.
Eventually, they arrive at a lone door. The door was made from what looked to be some type of Ivory tusk from an animal that was unknown to Kara. It had engravings all over it and that were far too small to read but Kara reached out and placed her hand over them. As she did so, the engravings glew white and the door flung open.
The Room was small, and it was also completely barren. There seemed to be nothing in the Room at all. The walls were made from something close to White Marble and the Floors where made from a similar Black Marble. Kara stepped forward into the room as the door closed behind her. Gooblin was nowhere to be seen and Kara was beginning to feel as though this was a trick. " GOOBLIN! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? " She screamed but received no reply. She was trapped here for the time being. She wasn't sure why, but she knew something felt off about the room. It seemed to radiate ancient magic the likes of which Kara had never experienced until now.
" Where even am I? " She asked herself as she paced around the room. She had a feeling the door would be locked behind here hence why she didn't bother to check. Gooblin brought her here for a reason and she needed to figure out what the reason was. There seemed to be nothing in the room though that would indicate a way to bring someone back from the dead. And that upset Kara. She knew it was too good to be true. It wouldn't make sense. Gabriel had already attempted this and it backfired. Noone could truly ever escape death.
Kara waited in the room for hours, seeing nothing and hearing even less other than her own breathing. " This is bullshit. Why am I here? I just wanted to bring Gabriel back. That is it. That is all I wanted. " Kara argues with the empty room.
" Why is this always so fucking hard? I do something, I fuck up. He does something, he fucks up. I want us, he doesn't. He wants us, I don't. We both want one another and then he fucking dies. This is ridiculous. How the fuck are we suppose to fulfill some stupid prophecy if every single time that we come close, something happens? I'm tired of it. I'm fucking done. I am tired of the back and forth bullshit. Every since I got here it has been nothing but emotional trauma, mental Trauma, and suffering. I just wanted one single fucking thing and I can't even have that" Kara continues to argue to the room. " God forbid I fucking lie. Oh nooooo, because Noone else does that kind of shit here, do they? But sure, why not? Shawn and Raven get to be happy. Dad gets to come back. Mom is fucking evil. Gabriel's home and people have been obliterated. But nooo, it's fine. It's completely fine. Because we are suppose to keep going based off some shit that wasn't even our choice to begin with. This is absurd. And unfair. If we were suppose to be together, then why the fuck hasn't it happened yet? Ooooh wait, that's right. BECAUSE HE IS DEAD" Kara leans back against the wall and slumps down, he hands on her knees. " I just want one single thing to go right for us..just once. Just fucking once..." Kara stares down at the ground, feeling completely at odds with the world she had sworn to protect and help. Nothing seemed to be on her side except the few allies left alive who had other important things going on. If she was to die here and now, it wouldn't matter in her opinion.
How could it? When her whole life had been a lie. And then she had lost so much the moment she found out who she was. " I just want this to stop" She answered, feeling more alone than she ever had before.
