Brooke wasn’t sure if it was a whisper or a shout as it was hard to hear her voice over the rushing sound of her pulse in her ears. It was as unexpected as almost everything in their relationship so far had been. When he lifted her into an embrace and spun her around, she hugged him tightly, clinging on as if she never intended to let go. 


So many fears had raced through her head from the moment she was made aware of her pregnancy.
