Kinley
It was early morning and Kinley didn't have to be at the bookstore until at least eleven, so she curled up with a book and a cup of hot chocolate on her couch. Her mind was still on the night before though, which made it extra hard to concentrate on her book. She put it down alongside of her mug on the coffee table. She walked over to the living room window.
She stood exactly where she had stood the night before. She looked down at the exact spot she had looked down at the night before. In the morning light all she could see was the Norway maple that she glanced at a million times before. No one was standing there now, but she could have sworn Seth was standing there in its shadow last night. She knew she wasn't losing her mind, or was she? Cause she didn't know why he would have just stood there watching her.
She shook the thought off as she walked back over to her now room temperature hot chocolate. She gulped it down and headed to the shower.
