Chapter 14: Make It Happen

Seth

Seth opens the door to his apartment. He didn't leave any lights on, but the dark didn't bother him much. He could easily see Seamus sitting in the chair by the window, smoking his cigar and sipping on a glass of scotch.

"Is it done?" he asked taking a deep drag.

"Yes. It's done my way. He's gone and he isn't coming back. If you would have killed him, I think it would have definitely ruined my chances with Kinley."

Seth walked closer batting away the rings of smoke in the air.

"That is what happens when you don't do what you are told. You are lucky I gave you a chance to do it the way you wanted. My patience runs thin very quickly."

"I am aware of that, but you can't just do what you want in this human society. Do you want the humans to start digging around? I don't think it could be shrugged off as a bear attack in the middle of a Manhattan apartment," Seth said.
