Chapter 18: Just Go With It

Kinley

Sunday is supposed to be the day of rest, but for Kinley it meant going to work at the bookstore. She was grateful it was a job she loved and that she was the boss. Had it not been for those two things, working a Sunday would be something she would protest.

She stepped out of the cab, coffee in hand, and unlocked the store.

She hadn't heard back from Natalie as of yet to see if she was able to connect with Seamus. She was hoping that maybe she hadn't or that he wasn't interested.

Natalie had a wonderful personality, so it was unlikely that Seamus would not want to go on a date with her.

But Kinley's fingers were crossed.

She did the normal opening routine; turned on the sign, cash register, and straightened any books that might have been in disarray from the day before.

She heard her phone buzz and saw she had a text from Natalie.

'Hey. I called Seamus. He agreed to go on a date. Please don't say no, but can we double? Pretty, pretty please. Don't say no.'
