Chapter 23: Party Crasher

Seth

After what felt like the longest shift of his life, Seth was finally able to clock out and head home. He went to his apartment first to shower and change. He hated smelling like the restaurant after work. A smell his nose never got quite accustomed to.

After he had showered, he packed a bag, so he didn't have to leave Kinley again. He jumped in his sedan and headed to her place. It was only an eight-minute drive, but it felt like forever.

He pulled up in front of her building. His heart was heavy. This wasn't how things were supposed to be, but he was glad they didn't turn out how Seamus had wanted. Now that he knew Kinley, he couldn't fathom life without her. He couldn't even think about having gone through with Seamus's wishes.
