Kinley looked down at her hand. She could still feel where Seth's rugged fur had touched her skin. She was in shock that she hadn't reacted differently to his altered form. A giant wolf had just stood in the middle of her Manhattan apartment minutes ago, but she felt calmer than ever.


She knew on some level that her lack of fear stemmed from her connection with Seth. It happened the minute her eyes met his in the restaurant that first night. And no matter what was going on, whenever he was near, she felt safe.


"I am better than okay. But as you can guess, I have a million questions."
