Chapter 25: Time to Tell the Truth

Seth

Seth pulled up in front of Kinley's place. He looked over at Natalie and she was slumped in her seat, dead to the world.

He hoped she wouldn't remember anything, but after he told Kinley, it wouldn't matter. He assumed Natalie would be there anyhow when he made Kinley aware of the situation. After all, she was pretty much the only family Kinley had besides her dad.

He got out of the car and walked over to the passenger side. He opened the door and pulled Natalie out. He carried her across the street. She didn't make a move. He knew he didn't have to worry about her waking until the next day.

Once inside, he swiftly got Natalie up to Kinley's apartment. He laid her on the couch and covered her with a blanket. She began to snore.
