There's a two story, white house surrounded by wheat and corn fields. The house is old, but it's home. The front porch is wooden with two rockers on the right side of the front door and a little playhouse to the left.
There's a swing set in the distance and the sunset has cast a shadow of the big, red oak on the side of the house. The breeze swayed its great branches in unison and the sound of laughter is heard in the distance.
A little girl comes running across the yard; barefoot and pigtails. Her hair is the same color as Kinley’s, but her eyes are a beautiful ocean of the lightest blue, just like her father's.
She jumps into his arms, all smiles and happiness. She is missing her front two teeth.
"Daddy, I love you," she says.
