Kinley
A few days had passed since she became engaged to Seth. She stared at the ring that now illuminated her hand every time she glanced down. Though the day of the engagement was now slightly a blur, she knew she would never forget every single detail of it. The smell of the flowers, the feel of the leather limo seat sticking to her sweaty palm, the wonderful dinner at Carl's and of course the love making.
She blushed slightly at the thought of the ending of that night. She was brought back to reality when she pulled up in front of her bookstore. She was able to get away from Seth for a few to meet the impending new owners.
She didn't want to leave her car. If she did and she walked through those doors and she put her signature on those papers, then it was real. This was the part of the dream she wished she could wake up from. She wasn't ready to let go, but she no longer had a choice.
