Chapter 27: Nevena

My body was on fire.

I couldn’t believe what and if this was really happening. Maybe it was all just a dream.

But if it was a dream, I never wanted it to end.

I admit it was a bit weird that we were in a mausoleum, going at it like there was no tomorrow, but at least there were no actual dead bodies and the sarcophagus was empty. Compared to what I witnessed in the last two days this was nothing to me.

The kiss that linked my lips with Ivan’s was magnetic. I felt like I could never stop. I needed it more than I needed air in my lungs.

The first thing that dropped on the floor Ivan’s leather jacket that he gave me because it was cold in the Midnight Garden, but the rest of our clothes soon followed suit.

I couldn’t believe that I had Ivan shirtless in front of me again. I couldn’t believe that I was taking off my clothes in front of a guy. I’ve never done that. I’m a total virgin, but I knew that if I ever was going to be ready, it was going to be now.
