Chapter 36: Nevena

“Nevena…” said Ivan weakly. “I will die if you take me outside. The Charovny Razsyp won’t last long in protecting me from the sun.”

“Shh, stop talking and let’s go,” I said to him, but I was internally panicking. “We will find more Charovny Razsyp soon.”

“I have one more in my pocket,” said Ivan, and he handed it to me. “But don’t use it until I burst into flames.”

“It won’t come to that,” I told him, but I wasn’t really sure.

The Academy was not shaking anymore, but there were big stones falling all over the place. The students were rushing out of there, screaming and crying and some of them looking for their friends or siblings. We walked outside of the castle, running to keep up.
