Chapter 17: Hostess of Fertility Again

Noctis had left Twilight Manor a bit ago and was just about to head inside the Hostess of Fertility. Once he stepped in the black haired cat girl Chloe went right up to him.

Chloe smiled "Hey Noctis you here by yourself nya."

Noctis nodded "Yeah everyone else in my Familia that I know an are willing to talk to me at least are busy."

Chloe tilted her head "Talk to you nya?"

Noctis nodded again "Yeah a lot of my Familia specifically the elves avoid me because of my presence or something no big deal though."

Chloe have a smile "Well let me sit you at a table nya."

Noctis then followed Chloe to a table over in the corner near the bar. Chloe then left to go get the person who would be serving Noctis as Chloe was just working the front today. Eventually Syr came around.

Syr smiled "Hi Noctis what would you like today?"

Noctis thought for a moment "Could you get me the same drink that Loki always gets. Besides that I will get food later."

Syr then quickly turned around to go get the drink Noctis had asked for. A couple moments later Syr came with two mugs of the hard alcohol drink that Noctis wanted.

Noctis raised an eyebrow "Two?"

Syr nodded and sat down "You should not have the first drink by yourself after all."

Noctis smiled "Thanks Syr."

Syr smiled back "So what should we toast to?"

Noctis shrugged "Well I made it to level three today so why not that."

Syr was shocked "Level three already?"

Noctis nodded "Yeah it's no big deal. A lot of stuff happened. Everyone is going to know tomorrow. Loki said she would take care of it."

Syr kept the smile up but just said "Oh."

They then cheers and started to drink. After they were both done Syr went back to work and got Noctis another one. Noctis after a couple more drinks was getting bored apparently his tolerance had somehow gone up quite a bit. Noctis realized it might be his resistance skill. Noctis started to think about Mikoto as well.

He was not particularly sorry for her or anything like that. He thought she was attractive and going to a war game with them was certainly not the best thing to convey that. However just as quickly as he thought about her he saw someone else walk in.

Noctis looked up from his drink to see a girl walk in. She was on the taller side with long blonde hair that had pink highlights. She had multiple white earrings on her ears. She was wearing dark grey light armor. She had a choker as well as a necklace. Noctis then noticed her bright red eyes that were similar to his.

Noctis was head over heals right now. Noctis saw how she went to the bar where Mia Grand was. Noctis quickly got up and said "Mia can you get me two more of these one for me and one for her."

Mia chuckled and leaned in "You are going to need a lot more then luck kid."

Noctis shrugged he just had a feeling about her but he knew it would be hard. She seemed perfect. Noctis then sat next to the girl who walked in. She did not even look over at Noctis. So Noctis decided to wait until the drinks came. Noctis looked at her soul while he was waiting. But two things caught him off guard one her soul and two she slapped him so hard his head bounced off the bar table.

Noctis felt like he got hit the hardest he had been in a long time. His ears were ringing and his visioned was blurred. It took him a couple seconds to get his bearings again and he looked to where the girl was. She was absolutely furious.

She spit out "You do that again and I'll open you up from head to balls got it."

Noctis decided to ignore it and stuck out his hand "Nice to meet you I'm Noctis."

Mia then came back with the drinks. The girl then said "I'll talk to you later Mia."

The girl then quickly stomped away. Mia whistled "You know your paying for the dent in my bar."

Noctis nodded "I know, I know."

Mia smirked "So that bad huh? I figured I suppose."

Noctis knew her name from seeing her soule but decided to simply asked "Who is she?"

Mia smirked again "That was Marin Kitagawa. She is a member of the Freya Familia she held all the level up records before Ais and now before you she is currently level five."

Noctis rubbed his cheek "No wonder that slap hurt so much."

Mia chuckled "She was still holding back too. My advice kid stay away. Your from the Loki Familia anyway. Loki and Freya might be somewhat close but they are still battling each other."

Noctis shrugged "Thanks for the advice but I think I will keep trying. Anyways I'm going to keep drinking so I will take those two drinks."

Mia smiled "The more you spend the better kid. I'm still adding the damages to your tab though."

Noctis smiled "Yeah I know don't worry."

Noctis then grabbed both drinks and turned to go back to his table. When he looked at his table he saw Bete laughing his ass off. Noctis sighed as he walked back over and put one of the drinks in front of Bete.

Bete kept laughing and said in between laughs "Don't….. think…..I…..Still…..won't tell anyone just because you brought me a drink.!!"

Noctis let out a chuckle "I don't care if you tell people honestly."

Bete kept laughing. After awhile once he calmed down he took a couple sips of his drink and asked "You know who that was right?"

Noctis nodded "I found out after from Mia."

Bete frowned a bit "Stay away from her Loki won't like it if you get in trouble with Freya we are already being competitive with each other."

Syr came up to ask if they needed more drinks and said "He is right you know. Freya definitely would not like it either."

Noctis smirked and thought 'I wonder why.'

Noctis looked at Syr though and said "Well we will just see what happens but in the mean time Syr could you please get me another drink."

Syr wryly looked at Noctis "Are you sure I might need to cut you off."

Noctis smirked "Don't worry Bete is here to take me home if I need help."

Bete frowned but then sighed "I was going to be here until last call anyways i need a couple drinks too."

Syr smiled "Okay no problem then. But Mia really will kick you out if you cause too many problems."

Noctis waved her off "I know I know. Don't worry I'll be a gentleman."

Syr then went to go get more drinks for the two of them. Noctis then turned to Bete "So why were you about to drink by yourself?"

Bete frowned "Don't worry about it."

Noctis smiled "Oh someone got Bete all upset and he can't do anything about it. Which means it must be because of Ais or Lefiya."

Bete was a little shocked "How did you… I mean no of course not."

It was Noctis's turn to laugh at Bete "Something happened. What did you do?"

Bete groaned "Riveria came by to inform us you got to level three."

Noctis shrugged "Okay so?"

Bete groaned again "I might have said how you are still a weakling."

Noctis nodded and made an understanding face "Oh and Lefiya is still level three and Ais and her are like sisters so they both got mad at you for that comment."

Bete was confused "Yeah you are right but how do you know so much about us if your almost never around us."

Noctis looked Bete up and down "Well we are in the same Familia and in the same group but only Loki and Finn know this so you have to keep it a secret alright."

Bete nodded in confirmation "Listen I owe everything to Loki so you don't have to worry."

Bete then looked Noctis up and down "And we are Familia even though your a weakling."

Noctis pretended like he got shot "Oh that hurts Bete. But anyways I have a magic ability that lets me see people's souls and understand them. So I know more about everyone then you all would probably like."

Bete focused all his killing intent on Noctis "If you tell anyone."

Noctis smirked with a chuckle "About your past or who you like?"

Bete was shocked then before he could say anything Noctis quickly said "Don't worry I won't. You are all Familia like I said I wouldn't betray any of you. Like I said Loki knows about it. She even encouraged me to use it to get a better understanding of everyone because it could help me in both teamwork with you guys and to make sure I don't get lied too or tricked."

Bete then noticeably calmed down and Noctis then whistled "That was some nice killing intent though."

Bete leaned back "I'm surprised you didn't faint on the spot."

Noctis chuckled "I have felt way worse killing intent. Fenry."

Bete questioned "Fenry?"

Noctis smiled "Well your nickname use to be Fenris right so I figured this is good pay back for you calling me weakling all the time."

Bete huffed "Whatever you say Vamps."

Noctis was shocked "What?!?"

Bete smirked "Well your our blood mage and you have red eyes so Vamps."

Noctis turned away "Whatever."

He was about to chug his beer but it was still empty. Noctis frowned "Where is Syr with our drinks."

Syr however was busy reporting to Freya what happened tonight as Syr was the actual one there tonight.
