Chapter 30:

Nestor's opponent was much taller, stockier, with long black hair, and extremely unkempt. The champion's torso had cut wounds from the past and he looked with repudiation at the man in platinum armor, he looked at his opponent with nerves but the impulse of the people resonated again causing the dwarf man to give the signal to send Nestor with a push to the coliseum.

He did not expect the wretch to push him so he would fall on his chest to the ground, he was stunned by the fall so he would listen to the organization's presentation between coughs.

—A new fighter has entered the arena, the platinum knight against Gundar. —

People shouted with excitement as they worshiped Gundar so Gundar would attack the bodyguard with a kick in the direction of the face upon seeing his guard down. Gundar's strength would make Taras rise from the ground and fly two meters away.

The minotaur would get up still dizzy, trying to focus but Gundar had the upper hand, attacking the knight with force and consecutively with his fists, the victim would defend himself with both arms so the aggressor would change tactics by hitting his abdomen causing he will lower his guard and attack the face again until he is unbalanced and strikes him down with a front kick.

Winter's substitute was on the ground, stunned, his eyes were deceiving him, he saw double and in that the words of his young master would resonate in his head.

—I called someone to give us information, I told him that one of mine would attend the location he asked me for, I warn you to be careful although I know that shouldn't worry you. Winter reported still in the hospital.

'I'll be careful, sir. Anything else? —

—It only remains to say that we do it for the good of someone. —

After that, Taras would return to his current condition. He would get up without hesitation and see that his opponent was champion long before the bell rang, the minotaur would launch himself against the opponent to throw him and grab him with a bare fist in that position but the enemy man would break free of his grip and separate him with a kick in the chest Taras slid on the sand without losing his balance and then looked at his opponent through his helmet.

Both men showed mutual repudiation, one with the desire to win and the other to obtain the information. People shouted with emotion, the adrenaline of others had an effect on Nestor, he felt like his blood boiled through his veins, his pupils began to contract and wrapped in insane thoughts he would attack his opponent left and right. Both thought of being victorious in one way or another, it looked like two fighting titans were looking for the crown of power, so the attacks launched were exchanged for counterattacks until creating a brief loop of giving and returning.

The bodyguard was forced to break the loop by holding the opponent's head to head him in the nose, the opponent lost concentration and the minotaur would take advantage of returning Gundar's same attacks to his own creator. The abdomen, face and even the sides were attacked by a minotaur wearing silver armor and no one knew what race it was.

The people became more and more euphoric, the foreign aura made Taras continue attacking the enemy but by the time he reacted he would see the emaciated face of his opponent, he was still alive and unconscious, the knuckles of his armor were bloody and the host of the coliseum was completely satisfied with the fight. A pressure in the chest was present in Nestor, his eyes could not assimilate what he had done, his actions had been too aggressive even for him. That had not been the Nestor Taras that was known, it had been a murderer, a forgotten instinct that had arisen due to the environment in which he was surrounded.

After the fight, the platinum gentleman would go to the office where the owner of that bar was looking forward to him. The dwarf man would see the winner with an expression of euphoria and pleasure.

—I hope you're not angry about what happened, I had to check that you were my precious colleague's man. — The dwarf would light a cigar and savor it in front of the tallest.

—It's rude of you to mistrust my boss, especially when he has helped you with so many things. —

"I know, I know, and I apologize for it. You know we do not choose any cattle without first making sure they are of good quality. —

Nestor would let out a groan.

"Well, well, since you are a busy man. — He hands her a USB. —There is all the information of said target, use it wisely. —

"My boss is grateful to you. The knight would bow and turn around.

"Before you go, does your boss know about a drug called Satrax?" —

— Are you talking about the thick, dark-colored substance? Yeah, he had to destroy a store of it to keep it from spreading. —

"I see, that was very clever. Tell your boss that I am interested in the destruction of said substances, I am even willing to pay him for every warehouse he destroys. —

— Is it so dangerous? —

"That's right, our businesses will be affected if the leaders of the suburbs do nothing." —

"I will inform you of your situation and that of the rest." —

Nestor would leave the place with the information in hand to then contact the albino, the boy would answer the call and while they talked, the man would go across the rooftops.

"I have the information you requested, sir. —

"Okay, just need to check it out." For now go back to the house, you must rest. —

"I can't afford that when the dwarf with the pot of gold requires your services." —

-Speech. —

—The substance you found is called Satrax, the little man wants you to destroy the warehouses where the supplies are stored so that it does not spread more than it should, he says that the business is in danger and he is willing to pay you for each destroyed warehouse. —

Well, that's new and interesting. Still you must return. —

-Can't. —

"Hey, I know you have a chance to do it now but we can't do more in the circumstances we're in. —

Between your journey you would feel like someone was following you so you would stop short to check your surroundings.

"I have to hang up, someone is following me." —

Nestor waits. —

The call would be cut off and the eldest would frown annoyed because he didn't expect someone to follow him out of the blue. There was no one else in the place, I was on a roof of an abandoned factory, the moonlight was at its highest point and the light of this illuminated the gloomy place.

"Whoever you are, you better come out for good or I'll drag you out of hiding myself." —

A being with white and blue eyes would leave the place revealing that it was a ghostly-looking man. He looked no more than 20 or 30 years old, dressed in detective clothes, and appeared to be charismatic.

"Don't worry, I came in peace. You were talking to Murderous Psychopath, right? —

Nestor would be put on alert something that the subject would begin to notice.

"Calm down, I didn't come to fight. I wanted to talk to your boss, of course if you let me. — The subject did not show any threat.

"She's not available for a Magnesriz like you." —

—That is very offensive, in that case I will proceed to get the information I need from you. —

The Magnesriz were ghostly beings, who had managed to get out of the gap that existed between the dead and the living. Not being a soul in pain or a restored soul, these would be named in this way and nicknamed as the beings that travel between the untouchable worlds.

Those beings were fast, cunning and very few were charismatic or passive because most of them that came out of the gap were dangerous beings full of thirst for revenge or blood.

Nestor could only see how it disappeared in a blink, so astonished he would increase his defense waiting for the impact of his opponent, one that would come with force causing the impact to crack the ground that the bodyguard stepped on.

"Wow, you have good stamina. Platinum Knight. —

Detective Magneriz was not going to sit still, so he would repeat the blow until his opponent fell into the factory. Walls, pipes and rods would be fragmented in the fall of the eldest, causing the USB of his information to fall on his back and be lost in the rubble.

"Mhg….agh...Fuck.... The older one muttered.

"Curse words are not allowed in my presence." —

The opponent had the advantage by creating a mana hammer to then attack the man in platinum armor, with the short reaction time he would stop the impact with both hands causing the act to have him more on the ground.

—You have to speak one way or another, man, otherwise you will die here and no one will know. —

The pressure would get stronger, Nestor's armor would begin to crack and his hands would begin to lose resistance.

—Mgh….Never, not even dead will I give information. Nestor replied with determination.

The aggressor would not hesitate to multiply his force until he created a shock wave, the damage was irreparable, Nestor lay on the ground with his armor broken and his helmet cracked, so the subject would begin to approach him.

"You still have time, Minotaur Lord." —

A shot would resound throughout the building, Magneriz's face showed that he was shocked and Nestor could barely see the face of his aggressor.

"And if my agent keeps saying no, will you kill him?" Wow, what persistence young people have today. said a voice without hesitation.

I thought you wouldn't come." - The detective answered holding a bloody arm.

"Well, here I am." What do you want to discuss with me? I hope you don't bore me after I send you back to the world where you belong. — Murder would reload the gun with some Sapphire bullets.

Oh ~ I like that, let's see who answers who." —

The fight had changed in difficulty but only one was at a complete disadvantage, Magneriz moved fast as the wind but Murder was lethal and precise so the bullets grazed or hit the target. The detective was not going to miss the opportunity to study it and the opponent would look for a way not to be analyzed, both played on their own terms between dying or killing.

As a result of a missing movement, Murder would neglect his rearguard receiving a side kick in the ribs, considerably distancing him from the detective and giving him the opportunity to attack with his speed, creating a network of impacts on the opponent's body.

Murder would fall on his feet against the pavement causing an impact wave and dust, in the air the detective looked at his opponent with shock because with each impact he felt as if he hit a wall of ice.

- That's it? Gee, then I guess I'll have to hold back against someone weaker than me. —

The masked man would sigh and with a movement the dust would settle causing a great shudder in the detective.

"Your power level…. What power range do you have? —

- I? Why should I tell a speck of misery like you? —

-Miserable. — The Magneriz answered furiously.

The detective would attack again but Murder already had him in his sights because between each word he had checked his patterns.

"Checkmate, you wretch of shit." —
