Chapter Eighty Six: The Unexpected Shift

Both Penny and Raven spent most of the night, trying to find a way to actually make the plan work by suggesting different creatures they could duplicate and how the process could even begin. They eventually settled on a few animals that existed within the Underworld that would both Provide a ample blood supply to Vampires but also plenty of meat for the Lycans.

When it came to the duplication process, Raven had ideas on how to achieve it but this had never been attempted by anyone before with a living creature, so she would need to perform test.

Keera arrived home, finally after hours of being away and seemed to be rather troubled by something. " What is wrong? " Penny questioned as Keera walked past them both, and into another room, as though she had not heard Penny.

" That can't be a good sign" Raven worried.

" The attack has been stopped " Keera called out from the other room. " But you need to meet with the King and Queen sooner than planned. Tomorrow actually.." Keera walked back into the room and taking a seat beside Penny.

" I know you aren't ready. But they wish to meet with you because they are curious. Two Witches walking into the Kingdom and offering a peace at the detriment of their own people is something that cannot be ignored" Keera explained.

" Well..this is not a good sign" Raven was definitely nowhere near ready but she had no other choice. She would have to present what she had for right now and hope for the best.

" We will meet with them and see what we can do. I can't promise they will approve of the plan but it's the best that I can do " Raven hoped that they could understand but she had her doubts. They would be risking their own Kingdoms safety based on unfinished method to save their people.

" Well, I'm going to turn in for the night. We have a long day tomorrow and I need my rest" Keera stood back to her feet and let out a loud groan. " You both can sleep in here if you'd like, or there is a guest bedroom down the hall on the left. It's up to you both but I will see you both tomorrow" Keera yawned.

" You will be attending the meeting with us? " Raven questioned.

" Of course. I am in charge of the Royal Guard after all" and with that, Keera walked off down the hall and left both Raven and Penny in complete shock.

" The Captain of the Royal Guard..what are the chances.." Penny stared into nothingness, trying to comprehend the fact that someone whom held a great deal of power within the Kingdom would have taken their side on anything.

" I guess so.." Raven too, was shocked. And yet, she found herself more surprised at the fact that Penny was maintaining her composure so well here. Vampires had wreaked havoc on earth and she seemed to bare no Ill will against them. It was this level of maturity that was impressive. And perhaps showed the reasons why Penny was destined to be the one to save this world.
