Chapter Ninty Four: The Secret Child

Though it had taken several days, Keera had managed to perfect the duplication magic. And while it was still something she had not completely understood she had made vast strides into it. After working long days and even longer night she had managed to duplicate hundreds of animals, effectively proving that their idea could work. This would be revolutionary for the world.

" The work you have done here..it..it has changed the world for the better. I truly hope you know that" Raven was thankful, not just for helping complete their mission, she also had proven that there were still things that had yet to be discovered here within the world. And that a treaty with the Vampires, ones with actual unity could possibly be the key to achieving amazing things within the world.

" Well, it's going to be hard to keep it up without a massive amount of help but it's something that I'm proud of regardless. The idea of peace being achieved is now closer than ever" She smiled. " But there is something that I must confess to you both.." Keera looked to Raven who was resting on the ground near her.

" I know that both of you are not normal witches" She confessed.

" I know that you are from the ancients bloodline. And I know that Penny at the very least, is not from here. She has the smell of Earth on here. Which tells me that you both are very..different" The fact that Keera had been so adept was surprising to Penny and Raven. " And I can assure you that for the most part it doesn't really matter to me who you are. But as I said, I have something to confess" And with that Keera closed her eyes for a moment and when she opened them, her pupils were glowing a bright green color. This was strange to Penny but completely shocking to Raven who could recognize the energy, for she had dealt with it far too many times.

" Who are you..who are you really? " Raven now stood to her feet, taking a defensive stance as Penny watched on, completely clueless.

" I can assure you that I am of no threat to you either of you. Well, thats not true, I am. But I mean no harm" Keera continued to smile as she looked over Raven, as though she were sizing her up for a confrontation.

" I am, I'm sure you are well aware of now, a part, of the Royal bloodline for the Witches. And that means, I am of relation to Princess Aurora" Keera confessed.

" So you are Kara..like we originally expected? " Raven questioned, still prepared to defend herself and Penny if needed.

" No, I am not Kara. And I really wish you would stop calling me that" Keera sighed.

" There are things about the Royal bloodline that you, as well as many others are not aware of. And I'm sure, you have plenty of questions so I will just save you the time and answer the majority with my story" Keera waved her hand in the air, and a magical formation appeared in front of the group, a crystallized recreation of the Palace of the Witches.

" My parents, as I have said, abandoned me at a young age. And for the longest time, I did not know who they were. But eventually, I found out, as my magic began to manifest. And as it would turn out, my parents, just so happened to be shared with Aurora.." This revelation was shocking to Raven. She had never heard of another child being conceived by the Queen, and thus she was naturally suspicious but she could not deny the magic.

" And no, I don't really ask that you believe me on it. And I don't really care about reconnecting with my family either, so whether you believe or you do not, I would ask that you keep my secret. As I've said, I prefer my privacy" Keera pointed to the Palace and the palace began to crumble.

" They didn't want me, and I don't want them. I want to remain with the Vampires" Keera added.

" I thought you said you were a vampire? " Penny questioned.

" I am a vampire in belief that their side made more sense and went along with my ideals as opposed to my own people. Whose beliefs are something I'm not sure I could ever get behind. So I hope you do accomplish this plan of yours, because If Aurora remains in power..there will be no peace. I can promise you that"
