Lysette was doing the best to she could to maintain patience with her Sister and the King. She was to oversee the training of Ally, the recently returned Princess. Though she was still young, she would need to be tough to last in the Lycan Kingdom and Lysette wanted to start her training as early as possible.
Locked away deep within the castle, where they could maintain privacy, Lysette sat in front of Ally who stared back in complete confusion.
" What are we doing?" Ally asked Lysette who was truly bothered by the fact that they even had to go through this to begin with.
" We are going to train you a little. We want you to be as tough as you possibly can be" Lysette explained.
" I don't want to be strong and physically. I want to be smart. I want to be strong so that I can help mom and dad" Ally explained which surprised Lysette.
" Well you are a Lycan. If you want to be more book smart than combat smart..that's fine. But you are going to transform at some point and you have to know how to handle it" Lysette knew that transforming between the wolf and human form was a bit much for children. It took alot of energy and without proper control, their heightend senses could send them into a frenzy. She had to ensure that Ally would not cause damage to others or herself.
" I don't like my wolf self. It hurts alot " Ally said nervously.
" What do you mean it hurts? " Lysette wasn't aware of the transformation ever causing pain and if it did, it was usually very little.
" It hurts" Ally was practically pleading to not transform.
" Don't worry, We don't have to focus on that for right now. We can work on those booksmarts how about that?" Lysette smiled.
" You want to know what I mean about the wolf form. I know you do. I'll show you but only once. Cause it really hurts" And with that Ally stood to her feet and proceeded to transform.
Her fur, was completely black, though something that was noticeable strange about her form was the Piercing White Eyes, and protruding fangs. She also, was rather large considering her age. Her height, from legs to back was around 5ft. Usually this would be around 2ft for someone her age. However, everything else seemed completely fine with Allys wolf form. She seemed healthy and whilst larger than most her age, she seemed as though she had excellent control over her form.
" Can you walk to me? " Lysette asked Ally, and the child did as she was asked, stepping slowly over to Lysette who petted her head in appreciation for completing the task.
" Your coat is beautiful" Lysette smiled as she scratched behind Ally's ear.
"If you want to transform back, you can" Lysette offered though Ally seemed rather distraught at the request.
" Do you not know how to change back? " Lysette questioned.
Ally nodded her, proving that she did know how to change back but Lysette was left with wondering why she wouldn't change back.
Low growls We're being made by Ally, As though she was struggling with something internally. Lysette could do nothing but watch as Ally began shaking her head violently, howling and growling until finally she snapped her body back into human form and fell to the ground unconcious.
" So that's what you meant about pain..are you okay? " Lysette rushed to Allys side to see the girl was coughing and breathing heavily. " Let's get you to a bed so you can rest for now, we can focus more on the training later" Lysette assured and scooped Ally into her arms before carrying her off back to Allys room.
Once she had been placed on the bed, Ally fell into a deep sleep and Lysette stayed by her side to ensure that she would be safe. As she waited for Ally to awaken, she couldn't help but wonder why the childs transformation back into human form had been so violent. It was possible that she just was never taught how to properly do so or that she never figured it out on her own. But this was something that they would most definitely have to work on. Because she could seriously enter herself if she continued transforming in the way that she was. That being said, She seemed to show great potential. His her wolf form was unlike anything that Lysette has seen in the past.
With the right amount of training she would probably be one of the strongest Warriors that had ever existed within the Lycan. But Lusette also wanted to respect Allys wishes and focus on book smarts rather than combat. It was Allys choice on how she would want to grow and lead and despite wanting to improve her intellgence, she already seemed vastly beyond her years. She communicated very well for someone her age and was tough. And that was something Lysette would always respect.
