Over the next few days, Alanna was as kind and patient as possible with her father. Gradually, his frown faded and their relationship returned to what it was before Morana appeared.

What Alanna absolutely didn't want was to let that witch ruin her relationship with her father. And she wouldn't allow it.

One fine Saturday morning, Sebastian announced that he wanted to invite Danika to lunch with them on Sunday. Alanna swallowed her disgust and smiled at her father.
