Dark Bond

Sebastian sat at the head of the table and Danika sat on his left. Alanna sat on the right, with Faolán beside her.

"So Danika...how did you and my father meet?" Alanna asked. Danika, who was about to put her first bite of lasagna into her mouth, put her fork down on her plate.

"It wasn't a very happy thing. I set my coffee cup on my lap and looked down to pick up the cup. I ended up going more to the side than I should have and ran over your father. Luckily it was nothing serious, but I was terribly scared!" She narrated and took Sebastian's hand. "Bah is strong and has suffered a lot of damage. I had never run over anyone. So as we chatted, we discovered that we work for the same company."

"Isn't that amazing?" Sebastian asked, smiling. "A happy coincidence."

"Yes sure. Quite a coincidence, indeed." Alanna spoke and took a sip of her juice. "Eat, Danika. I made the lasagna myself."
