Chapter 105

Morana was exhausted. She had never thought something so small could be such hard work!

She was about to start eating, but a cry made her stop midway. Her hand with the bread went down and rested on the table.

"Oh… why is it so hard?" 

Normally, a baby  has a mother to feed. But Morana, for sure, had no milk to breastfeed that infant. She was forbidden to use magic, in order to prevent anyone finding her. Anyone unwanted, of course. 

She got up and went to fetch the bottle and, once it was prepared, she went to the small room she shared with the baby. 

"There, there… why crying so much, little pest?" She didn't dislike kids, at all. She just disliked Zilda.  Okay, she never held Zilda as a baby, or even visited. She just hated her from afar.

Looking at that face, she smiled, but then, she remembered who that child was. Alanna's and Faoán's pup. He was not beautiful. He was just a stupid baby that won't stop crying the whoe time.
