Chapter 107

Everything was dark. Faolán couldn't see his hand, even when he almost touched his face. He didn't know if he should walk or wait. He decided to wait a bit and see what happened. Then, he might walk. 

Soon, a strange light started to appear. The darkness was soon replaced by a silver light. He had to blink a few times in order to finally open his eyes and focus. 

He was in the middle of a forest. Or so it seemed. The trees were so high where he was standing, but he could not see very well anything beyond the 'circle' of light he was in. It was like he was in a glade. 

He started to walk. First, with cautious steps, since he didn't know what that was, exactly. But soon he got confidence. He started to hear something. Was that… a song?

He didn't understand what was being said there. It was a female's voice, for sure. But it sounded as if it was from another world. a bit ethereal.
