“Screw them! Everything needs to be screwed!”



It was the last Sunday that she'd spend at the restaurant where her hopes of starting her culinary career rested on. Elaine slumped at the table in a mess, surrounded by empty beer bottles and once filled plates. The aftermath of her closing down party was nothing short of uneventful — until the clock approached the crack of midnight.



A frightening curiosity that touches fantasy, she heard a bellowing knock coming from outside of the door. Who could it be roaring at this hour on a miserable end of a diner?



Panic-stricken, Elaine drew her weapon — a pan — and gradually dragged herself closer to the door. Upon opening, what surprises is not a man to steal the meager coffers she had, but a big black creature.



“Woof!”

“Woof?”



The frightened Elaine: “Please, someone. Wake me up from this fever dream!”
